Authentic, deliciously prepared, ample portions of Middle Eastern dishes like falafel, gyro, baba ghannouge, tabouli, chicken/beef schwarma, vegetarian dishes, baklava. All at very reasonable prices. We've been eating at Pita House regularly since 1991--the owners are very friendly and personable One time when we had our 8-yr old son with us, Ziad brought us a complimentary sampler plate for him... Do NOT come for the atmosphere, but if you want great hummus, pita, and grape leaves, it's definitely a good choice. Reasonable prices. We were very disappointed with the chicken shwarma, which is supposed to be succulent and well-seasoned. Theirs is tasteless and tough.

I used to live in NYC and frequented many restaurants with this type of food. This is hands down the best falafel I've ever had in my life! I always get the platter, and smile through every bite.

This place is very Seinfeld-esque. The food is always good. The service is quick. Their sweet tea and lemonade is awesome (better than most Southern restaurants). I always get the same thing every time - the gyro sandwich. They only accept cash so keep that in mind when you visit. If you go when it's busy just know what you... More

I have been going to this restaurant for the last decade and I have never been disappointed. The food arrives relatively quickly, unless the lines are backed out the door. A downside is that you must pay in cash, but always worth the effort. I love their middle east plate with gyro, and their fresh falafel is a pleasure to... More

This small restaurant and grocery offers fresh, fast and tasty Middle Eastern favorites. Owned and run by brothers for 28 or 29 years! They do not take credit cards- cash or check only. It is not about the ambience it is strictly about the food, the Hummus was probably the best I have ever tasted. Wonderful assortment of desserts as... More

A friend recently took me here, and I was very pleased. It was clearly authentic and not an American restaurant trying to be Middle Eastern. I ordered the beef shawarma, and it was a significant portion of food that was piping hot and delicious! I guess the bag of chips wasn't authentic, but that didn't take away from the fact... More

Tried this place out for lunch after lots of recommendations to go here. The food was fantastic - fresh, authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The hummus was flavorful, the pita bread was perfectly soft and delicious and the chicken was seasoned well. The portion was also a good size for the price. Attached to the restaurant are a few aisles of Lebanese... More

Pita house is one of my go to lunch spots in Greenville. The food is authentic, clean and delicious. Can't beat it..especially for the price point.
