I used to work in downtown Greenville and ate here regularly for lunch. It has been a number of years since I have eaten there since I changed jobs and no longer work downtown. My wife and I went there today and I was very happy that it is still as good as I remember. All of the food is... More

We enjoy Middle Eastern food, and the Pita House specializes in it. At first when you walk in, you see a menu board with lots of names that you may not be able to distinguish. Fear not. At the counter, you'll find pictures of the various dishes and easily tell them apart. One may have hummus and another not; it's... More

This place was packed when we came for dinner on a Saturday. And it is not surprising- good food, easy-going and friendly service and a reasonable wait-time. Prices are pretty good, too- for about 30$ we got a falafel/hummus plate, a mixed kafta/chicken kebob plate and the kibbe/grape leaves plate. The latter is the most special, reminded me of home.... The food has a lot of tastes and is really good. The food is from a different country so it might take some time to get us to but the food is good.

Fabulous food, atmosphere and service. My whole family has enjoyed this place for many years and I have good childhood and adult memories there. We have a diversity of eaters in the family- some vegan, some vegetarian, some carnivorous- some always on a diet- but we can all find something delicious to enjoy. Long live Pita House! The lemonade is... More

This doesn't look like much from the outside; or even when you walk in- but boy does it taste good! and the portions are plenty! The service is friendly, helpful, and English speaking. Picture menu is on the counter top. Food comes out fast!

This rest. is family run offering middle Easter food at very reasonable prices. I especially like the falafel plate. They have fresh pita bread they make. A family place with quality food.

This is a fantastic, family run, Middle Eastern Restaurant. The counter service is friendly and efficient. I go there at least once every 2 weeks for lunch. Great vegetarian options also. For vegetarians: Recommend Lentils, extra side of carrots, substitute in Tabouli salad instead of the regular salad and unsweetened tea with a splash of sweet. You won't be disappointed!... More

Lamb Kabab (substitute hummus for the salad) + Jerusalem salad. Comes with 2 cut pitas (4 halves). We have found this feeds 3 people (or 2 with leftovers!) Remember your cash and support the local culture! Best food in Greenville!
