Recommended by some folks working at The Westin, we grabbed a ride to this corner Italian Grill on Main Street. The Chef must have been on vacation replaced by a part time bartender in charge of the kitchen! Maybe the worst dinner in years! Our "food" including their "Grass Fed Strip" which after two bites, sat untouched. My wife's entree... More

Excellent supper, excellent service, and good atmosphere. Located on main street which is a great area for strolls and shopping.

Chef Nello shops daily to offer the very best to his discerning diners. Along with the daily Specialties posted on the chalkboard in the window, you'll find a wonderful menu of items that have pleased his guests for more than 25 years. Fine dining in an historic building in the heart of the City. A cozy bar offers the perfect... More

Four meals, two of them the veal liver. It was overcooked. One meal was the risotto, one fish dinner. Risotto was too heavy with goat cheese. I added shrimp which was excellent. Waitress, Lucy knew her stuff. Excellent service. Bartender Carey gave great pours on Single Malt scotch. Location is superb. You can watch the foot traffic right outside you... More

The food and drinks were wonderful. The waiter was wonderful. The hostess was rude. We were asked to relocate to another table to seat another group with reservations. We had a reservation. Speaks to quantity rather than quality.

My husband and I just happened to run across this lovely little ristorante in downtown Greenville. We didn't have reservations but they got us in immediately. White linen tablecloths cover the little bistro tables, fine wines are available and nothing but fresh ingredients in the authentic italian food. It is pricey and not your everyday moderate restaurant but great for... More

A group of our friends (10) met at the Ristorante Bergamo, having heard that this restaurant had a great reputation for superb food and service. We found that this evaluation was valid and we also were served in an appropriate area for our sized group - in a pleasant niche apart from the open part of the restaurant. The service... More

We went to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday and unfortunately, chose this restaurant for dinner! There were 6 women who all have eaten at wonderful restaurants for many years. We all were mortified at how we were treated here! My one friend ordered a salad that tasted very bad and politely let the server know and asked to exchange it... More

Servers were rude and when we told them that we were displeased with our salad, we were told that we should have asked about it before ordering! And, if we wanted a different one, we would pay for both! When we asked to speak to the owner or manager, we were told that "in over 31 years the chef has... More

My "tip" to all Greenville restaurant goers is , "do not go here!!" In a town with such great restaurant choices, this should NOT be one. Let me say that I paid my way through college by waiting tables at night, so I understand the service industry, but sadly this place does not. I had a raddichio salad that was... More
