Came here based on locals recommendation. We loved the casual atmosphere and attentive staff. Our meals were very good. To start we had fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese and pita chips. Both were very good. I had the fried chicken (Chicken Breast) served over...a chicken bog (rice and chicken dish). Dish was prepared perfectly. The wife had the shrimp and grits. She really liked the dish I was not crazy about it...I prefer the the more creamy style...this was a tomato base. Wine list was pretty good (prices were typical no deals to be had...(traditional 200-300% mark up). I would highly recommend trying the place...would definitely come backMore

I’m visiting Greenville with some friends and we were all blown away by the service and meals we enjoyed. I was praising the Lord God Almighty after eating the fried green tomatoes. Tyson, or waitress, was excellent and really went above and beyond. I didn’t...get photos of all my meals. The steak was like butter. The dessert was divine. No chips to review.More

I have been to this establishment other times in the past, and have recently returned with a group of 13 of us for a holiday dinner gathering. We reserved the cellar for a private dining experience. Kailey Phillips, Table 301’s sales manager, was instrumental in...creating our personalized menu and was very responsive. Callie was our server and she was phenomenal! She did a terrific job catering to us. She was friendly, sweet, cordial, helpful and accommodating. Jack was the wine connoisseur and was kind in offering his expertise and services. The cellar was a perfect amount of charm with a rustic and fine atmosphere. Our personalized menu included hors d’eouvres and a 3-course meal of soup/salad, entree and dessert. We all had a great time and food offerings were wonderful and tasty overall.More

I have frequented Soby’s for many years. I have enjoyed the quiet dinner to Soby’s hosting my training team of 35 members. Always a great experience.

Great find for us. We were walking around downtown when we stopped into Sony’s. I did do a little research and they had good reviews so we went in to see if the reviews were correct. We were not disappointed. Started out with a couple...beers. My wife ordered a salad and I said that I may take a few bites so when we got the salad it was already split in half for us so that was nice. My wife ordered the filet and that melted in her mouth. I ordered the special 1/2 order of the crab cakes and 1/2 order of the shrimp and grits. For a 1/2 order I thought the shrimp in grits was larger than I get at other places as a full dish. Came with 6 shrimp. The crab cake also came with beans and both dishes were fabulous. Restaurant seemed to be classy without the classy price of a Ruth Chris. Great place for great food at a great priceMore

We stopped here two nights in a row for drinks as the location and service are great. Although we only ate dessert, the banana cream pie was outstanding. We would love to come back for a full dinner, as the entrees looked very good.

We ordered the crispy fried chicken. Had it with Mac and cheese and grits. Was very good. And very convenient to our hotel across the street. It was very busy but luckily we found a high top table near the bar and was able to...enjoy our dinner there. Service was great!More

Absolutely, bar area could be a little noisy... but if you sit upstairs you'd be fine - you'd just have to keep toddlers away from the stair/railings
