This is the best German food I have had outside of Getmany. The owners are German and so is the chef. This is a must go place if you want true Getman food. The decor is beautiful and well done. You truly will not be...More

I went to the Schwaben House with my girlfriend for dinner and we liked it very much. The Schnitzel is amazing, even better than in Germany! My Girlfriend had the salmon which was also fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for authentic German food.

Met a friend for drinks here and ending up eating dinner. The restaurant and bar is beautiful! My cucumber mule was so delicious. They have a lot of speciality drinks that looked good. I ate the Dijon salmon and it was amazing! I have told...More

TripAdvisor Holiday travel drudgery is made better by getting off the interstate and stopping at Schwaben House. We consider a meal here a Christmas trip highlight. What Schwaben House does, the chef(s) and wait staff do well. Schnitzel, Kraut, Kartoffelsalat, Spaetzle, are excellent. But versions...More

My wife and I visited for lunch. I had the Wiener Schnitzel and my wife had the Jager Schnitzel with a brussel sprout soup appetizer. All was absolutely excellent as well as the service and atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant completely. Cannot wait to...More

This is quite remarkable--it's an authentic German restaurant that, instead of acting all "Look how German we are" is, instead, genuine: in other words, it's like a restaurant one would encounter in Germany (technically, Bavaria, since that is where one finds Swabia). The food is...More

My overall impression was the food is good but expensive and small portions. I would expect the food to be either more plentiful or exceptional for that price. Presentation was there. We started with soups and salads. Salad was unique - very fresh tasting and...More

This restaurant is similar to what you would find in Germany aka Deutschland: cozy, clean, comfortable, efficient, and offers very good food and beer. From the outside it is a plain building but a nice surprise awaits inside. At this time it is decorated with...More

Just 5 of us made it tonight, but the Schwaben House did not disappoint. It was the first visit for three of our group, fourth for two of us. Wonderfully served by Annette, the food was wonderful. Missed my Grapefruit beer, but enjoyed my Octoberfest...More

Jager schnitzel is absolutely "to die for"!! Red cabbage is the best. Creme brulee was fantastic! The owner and real boss is who makes it all happen! We LOVE this place!

We don't know about special offerings but they may be able to do special requests if it doesn't affect the quality or taste of the food. Most restaurants can work with you for special requests.

No but they seem to love kids. We brought our 12 month old son and they were all about him. I'm sure they'd accommodate any request for a little one.

Nope - I live several hours from both places. If you look at my other reviews, I tend to suggest other places if the original was bad. The food was awful - my guest who lived in Germany for years agreed. No clue why... More
