An absolute wonderful place to eat . Great location , service and incredible food . We enjoyed sitting out on the patio with great views of the river . The fried goat cheese balls are a must . Also the Brussel sprouts were delicious . Great quality of food for the price !!

Heading to the Peace Center for a show. Visit the Lazy Goat for a great dinner before hand. Just looking for appetizers this place is the best. Drinks are pricey but the bar staff is always friendly.

Of course, we would go on a busy night. Unfortunately, we were unable to dine outside and listen to the band playing across the river. We decided to eat at the bar. The bartender was great. He was friendly and gave us some great options for dinner. We split the sausage pizza and the shrimp small plate. Wow! What flavor!... More

I had wanted to go back here since meeting a group there last year. I was not that hungry and ordered the mussels with chorizo sausage. First I believe they use ham not chorizo sausage and secondly the broth really tasted like dish water. Don't even get me started on the waiter who needs a lot of training. Overall this... More

We went there for lunch. It was a beautiful day and we got a table on the patio overlooking the river. Ordered an entree salad which was very tasty but would have preferred if a protein choice had been offered as an add on. There were other interesting menu selections available- would go back to try other things.

Wonderful atmosphere with an outdoor patio and huge Windows overlooking the River Walk in Greenville. I skipped appetizer or salad and went to the main course that was the special of the day. Outstanding! It was the special of the day...Sautéed Floridian Pomano fish with a pork ragu with mushrooms and asparagus on top of pasta. I paired that with... More

If you haven't tried it yet, don't be afraid-just go. Brussel Sprouts are awesome. Order lots of things and share it all. Great for large groups.

This place has great food! Small portions are a little pricey but the quality and taste are good. Wonderful atmosphere with a nice view of downtown and the river. Weather permitting, they also have a nice patio that is great for a glass of wine and people watching.

It is such a pity that a restaurant that had a great start and in an unbeatable location takes such poor care of the food it is serving today. I had the worst paella of my life, and felt bad a whole day after that dinner. Other entrees were very disappointing as well, especially the ones with fish. The paella... More

The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant with a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East and a relaxed atmosphere where taking the time to "linger and share" is encouraged. The diverse menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat & cheese plates, small plates to “graze and nibble,” and main dishes. Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of that and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like".
