We have family down from Pa and NC and had planned to go to Captain Steve's for lunch. We had a party of 16 ready to have a great lunch. Just to make sure about operating hours, we checked the resturant web site as well as calling the resturant. Nothing was said that it would be closed for lunch today....nothing... More

Stopped in for lunch. Place looked good from outside. Seated me very quickly. I ordered fried flounder, collards, and clam chowder. I should have just eaten the hushpuppies. Two different pieces of fish. One with skin and one without. One fried tough and one greasy. Collards tasted spoiled. Slaw was typical institutional food. Chowder was luke warm and tasted old.... If your looking for good seafood your search has ended. Not only is it the best in York county but the portions are huge. Try the fried oysters, out of this world.Scallops either baked or lightly breaded, outstanding. The service is very good and don't let all the cars in the parking lot scare you, they will seat you quickly... More

My husband and I placed a take-out order recently. The fried shimp was overcooked and mushy. Way overpriced for the quality.

Everything you order at Captian Steves is awesome. Fresh, great portions, and fast service. Definitely a destination seafood restaurant. Great ambiance.

We eat here every time we visit the area. They have the freshest flounder I have ever eaten. It's always fresh, every time we come, which I can't say for other places we've been.

We ate at Captain Steve's October 9, 2016. Between us we had salt and pepper flounder, baby shrimp, clam strips, oysters, slaw, potato salad, baked potatoes and cole slaw. Everything was excellent. Prices were fair. Service was great. Will be back.

I had wanted to try this place for a while. I always see people waiting outside for a table so I assumed it must be great. I ordered steak and grilled scallops. The salad course was good and the steak was ok, nothing special. They brought me grilled shrimp instead of scallops. The waitress said she felt bad about the... More
