An assortment of oysters of the day on a sampler platter. My favorite: Served simply, on a bed of ice; oysters were fresh, shucking was even and mostly clean. Very nice assortment of bourbons. Lively, loud - a place to hang out with friends and watch the game. Average establishment for this seaside destination.

3 friends and I were at Folly Beach and wandered in for a bite to eat. We went upstairs and had a dozen oysters...two friends had never had them, but ate one and loved them! They were excellent! Also had the wings which were the best I've ever had... The servers were so nice and happy and the view on... More

The food here is decent. Oysters were fresh and silky... yum. My shrimp and grits was cold but was ok otherwise. Hush puppies crisp and delicious.

This is our favorite on Folley, the Oyster Shooters are the Bomb !!!! the service is great and the menu is Awesome. They will ask for your credit card when you order anything, just an FYI if you pay cash like myself. Awesome place and great to watch football.

After a day at the beach, my husband, daughter, and I went to the Oyster Room. We went up to the top deck where there was a nice breeze while we ate. We had steamers, which were delicious. We also shared an order of fish tacos which were very good as well. We would return here to eat.

Wow! Being from Colorado I never knew that oysters and crab could be so darn good! Staff was friendly and atmosphere was pleasant. If you love fresh oysters go here! 👌

My partner, Louise, and I are fortunate. We get to eat in many places the world over and experience different dinning, foods, service the things that make a good or great meal. The meal we had this evening is as good as any we have had. Let me set the standard and Charleston, SC's culinary community is the master of... More

You have to know this place is here to locate it. There's just a red door to mark the spot. When they are open there is a nice window looking over center street. No need to go if your not into oysters and shellfish. They list oysters on a blackboard with the place of origin and date of harvest.the servers... More

I was at Folly Beach yesterday and, at the suggestion of my friend, we went to The Oyster Room. It was immediately evident to my friend that there had been a change here. Apparently, it was recently acquired by a restaurant management group from Charlotte. We ordered gumbo which was typical and not as special as she remembered it. We... More
