Rita's was right across the street from our hotel and we Could hear the live music every night that was playing in there outdoor dining area. We are here twice and both times our food was very good and served hot. Staff was very friendly.

Went for a quick dinner our first night in Folly Beach. Good beer selection. Service was good. Fun, good vibe kind of place. The fish and chips were great and the salmon was very good. We were in and out of there quickly, which was what we were looking for. Fun dinner!

I think Rita’s must have changed hands since my last visit. For sure the menu has undergone a much needed refresh. You may be disappointed if you are looking for the usual and ubiquitous “fried fish platter” but the new choices are well prepared and better for you. I good deal of effort is going into training the staff and... More

We stopped by Rita's for a beer and to watch a football game. I ordered a draft IPA. After we drank a couple of beers we decided to pay and go to another bar. I was surprised to see my beer was $7. That's a little steep, no doubt.

Followed the lead of the hostess and got the pulled pork nachos to start and the Shrimp and Grits for the entree. She was spot on with the recommendation. Enjoying a Holy City Pilsner with both.

Pulled in to Folly Beach shortly after dark. Half dozen or so restaurants lined the quiet downtown area, so we closed our eyes and pointed. Lucky us, we had chosen Rita's Seaside Grille, an excellent place to begin our Thanksgiving week stay in Charleston-area Folly Beach. Nice ambiance, good service, good food as it turns out. The wife chose the... More

I stayed at the Tides on Folly Beach for a few days in November. Since I'm allergic to seafood I'm always looking for tasty meat. Rita's has a ribeye and filet on the menu. The ribeye is a 12oz come with veggies and fries. I had it with a salad and it was perfect. Cooked medium rare like I asked... More

We are locals and have eaten at Rita's dozens of times. Their tuna nachos are awesome. Their dry rub wings are flavorful. If Rita's wants to be known for the place where people are unwelcome, then they are wholeheartedly succeeding in their quest. We specifically came in to enjoy some food and watch a USC game. While it may seem... More

It has been quite a few years since I've been to Folly Beach and coming here again on this last trip didn't disappoint. It is a very friendly spot, super close to the beach and their food is yummy!!! We all got the same dish so I can't comment on anything except the fried shrimp! It was super yummy!!! A... More

A friend and I had a late lunch at Rita's on a recent trip to Charleston. It was mid afternoon when we arrived and although the restaurant wasn't crowded, it was steady. My friend had the Fish & Shrimp Tacos and pronounced them delicious. I had the Southbound burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten.... More
