Quick service, large menu, excellent wait staff. Our entire group enjoyed their breakfast and commented on the desire to return.

Lizard's is good and fast southern food. Lots of options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It isn't fine dining, but it's still good food. Definitely a good choice when you want to eat.

Food was good. Not sure about the claim of homemade. Being a former chef, I can tell canned vegetables and gravy fairly easy. Good portions and tasty

Whoa! My first ever experience with a Lizard's Thicket Restaurant...and definitely a memorable one! Excellent food, good service, reasonable price. The total package! Had the fried catfish, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread stuffing and creamed corn with a roll and cornbread. Umm-umm, good! Definitely want to try this again :-)

Some friends suggested we eat here and boy am glad we did. Our very pretty server, Kaitlyn, was quite knowledgeable with the menu and helped with our selections. I ordered the flounder with three vegetables along with some fresh and hot french fries and they were all excellent. The portions were large enough that we had the left overs the... More

I've eaten lunch and dinner many times here. But never breakfast. Well it didn't disappoint. Plenty of good food as you would expect. Wife and I ate all we wanted for less than $20 which included coffee. You can't beat that.

The food is good and is delivered rather quickly even when they are the busiest. The price is good. The dining room is crowded and therefore noisy.

I hate giving bad reviews, but I have to be honest. As a native Columbian, you hear all the time that you must eat at Lizards Thicket. Out of support of local business, I've tried this place multiple times. Most visits have been mediocre, but this last was the absolute worst. The chicken was overcooked and there were too many... My 89 year old mother in law's favorite place to stop. We never stop anywhere else in Columbia. Great fried chicken amd country vegetables. The mac and cheese is as close to my grandmother's as I've ever had in a restaurant. Nothing fancy, just good country cooking.

The food here was very good for the price. There were plenty of menu options from which to choose. The service was a little slow. It didn't look like they had enough staff on hand.
