We are just getting back home from probably one of the worst experiences at this restaurant we've ever had. It was not exceptionally busy for a Thursday night at 615. First: I got there before my party (of 3 adults and one child) and asked...to be seated. They advised they were waiting on the rest of my party before we could be seated. Another young lady came in with a young man, they said they were going to have a party of 6 but didn't have reservations and they got seated IMMEDIATELY. Second: After a 30 minute wait, we were finally seated, and began to look over the menu to decide what we wanted to eat. I had questions about the Ubon noodles, as I'd had them elsewhere with chicken, and asked our waitress if I could have just the noodles as a side. She asked what kind of Ubon noodles I wanted. I advised just the noodles in a broth as a side. She looked at me, flipped to the page with the noodle options, and said "read it". Ma'am, I did. And I didn't see anything that was served with the noodles that I liked. Which is why I asked the question I did. Third: we get our drinks, and there is food particulates in one of my partys drinks. Fourth: We get our food. I find 3 hairs in what I ordered, and my husband's beef yakisoba was cooked until it was dry and rubbery. Fifth (and finally): To top it all off, they tipped themselves an automatic gratuity of $15 (it was $14.92, I'm rounding up). For three adults and a 10 year old. I was told to try them again after a terrible experience to begin with at the St Andrews location, and I honestly regret it. The prices are inflated for low quality food (I would suggest trying Tsunami in harbison, best sushi out of anywhere I've gone!) Between food particulates in our drinks, hair in our food, rude wait staff and an automatic gratuity despite the fact that we were NOT a large party and I paid on ONE ticket, we absolutely will not be back. Terrible experience over all and I wish I could give 0, or even negative, stars.More

Dining solo on a business trip, I set at the sushi bar. I had Gyoza and 2 sushi rolls all were excellent and the sushi tasted very fresh. My only complaint was the extremely slow service, luckily I wasn't in a hurry.

One has to approach sushi places with caution, so my friend and I came to this place with that in mind. The sashimi here was fresh and well prepared and the service was very good. All in all, this was a pleasant experience.

i believe the best service you can get is at the bar. I tried the table service once, but it took too long . There is a decent selection of food. The meal that I had was good, nothing outstanding. The guys behind the bar...seem to have a great time and like to spend time chatting with the regulars. I would go back again, if in the close vicinity.More

We’ve been here before, and its been such a great place. Fresh fish, awesome service, and extremely friendly staff. Almost every time I’ve been, I’ve sat at the sushi bar, and when leaving say, “I really like this place. We should come back more often.”...Unfortunately, It was completely full this time. Full, at 5:45 on a Tuesday?! Good for them! So, we sat at a table. The service was extremely slow, the order was wrong (food was tasty though), the price charged was wrong, and the waitress appeared to disgruntled for some reason. This place needs to take a page out of my life-book: cut out the cancer and move on! Once you recover, you’ll be better for it!More

On my birthday, I shared and enjoyed a wonderful sushi meal with my wife. I enjoyed it so much that I shared a picture of my plate with friends.

Five of us ate here for a family gathering and were seated in the end booth which was a great out-of-the-way spot. They had happy hour domestic specials when we arrived, but instead I had a nice Kirin beer to start the meal. I usually...order sushi/sashimi at Inakaya because the quality is so good, but this time everyone ordered a mixture of Shake Salmon dinners and Chicken Teriyaki dinners which came in a traditional bento box. The meals were prepared excellent as usual and our server was super friendly. We always have a great experience at Inakaya and once again they did not disappoint.More

Inakaya continues to be one of the finest seafood restaurants around. If you like Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, you name it, they do an outstanding job! For the first time tonight had a spider roll (soft-shell crab); only on the menu when soft-shell crab are available....Was DELICIOUS!!!! (Psst: for adults, try the "saki in a box") Also, if you have Celiac, please inform your waitress/waiter to review GF choices.More
