I wish there was a zero to leave We had a party of 8 seated at a table for 5 or 6. We only had 2 burners. Everyone could not get what they wanted. When we called it to the attention of the manager, we...were basically told to suck it up. Half of us didn’t get to eat as there simply wasn’t room. If you want a decent Melting Pot go to Charlotte. Booked a fondue meal for two to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary. Asked for a quite table and was seated just where I wanted. Food was fabulous!
Another great experience! Each time we eat here, we are so impressed by the staff’s knowledge of celiac disease. The menu is marked, so it’s clear which items are gluten free/can be modified to be gluten free. The staff is trained to wash hands, switch...gloves, sanitize work stations, etc. We always include our need for gluten free due to celiac when we make our reservation and our server is always prepared. My (celiac) husband and I had a great experience at the Melting Pot! Our server, Jason, was friendly and knowledgeable. The gluten free options were clearly marked. They had gluten free bread for the cheese fondue and gluten free brownies for the chocolate fondue. Both...were delicious! We enjoyed a great meal-great tasting, great service and, most importantly, safe for my husband.More
We went to the Melting Pot on Sat. 9/14/19 for our 12th Anniversary and all staff and manager made our dinner so pleasurable. They even had a beautiful Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff waiting on our table for us. Eugene was our server...and he was wonderful! He was very personable, attentive. accommodating, and made sure that everything was perfect for our special day! The food was absolutely delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the "Candy Bar" Chocolate Fondue. Everything was superb and we would highly recommend the Melting Pot for any special occasion or if you just want to be treated to a special meal with great service. This was our second visit to this restaurant. Tonight’s dinner was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Our hostess Mikayla made us feel right at home the minute we stepped in. Our server Cassidy’s recommendations and suggestions were spot on....The food was great and the service was quick and very friendly. Visiting on a wine Wednesday made it all the better since the nice discount on bottles of wine caused us to select a bottle rather than individual glasses. A great evening. We will be back.More
Went with my friend Amy to try it out as I had never been there before. Dropped over $100 personally I did not ask what my friend spent, I think probably the same. Was a great interactive experience but not really worth the price considering...what you get.More
My kids favorite restaurant. Not the cheapest but they sure do enjoy it. Building is older and and interior shows it’s age but staff are helpful and nice. Haven’t had a bad meal yet, always good.
A cozy atmosphere, with great food. We had three courses, cheese fondue with bread fruit, and veggies . Then the meat course- steak,shrimp,duck, and pork; all good with dipping sauces if wanted. Finished with a chocolate fondue served with pound cake chunks, fruit, Rice Krispie...treats, brownies and marshmallows. You can order different kinds of cheeses for the fondue, and different broths to cook the meat in and different chocolate combinations. Our server could have been more punctual and entertaining. The meal is pricey.More
