Excellent Wine Choices and Ambience, but...

My wife and I met a close friend and her brother from out of town for a Friday night dinner. For appetizers we started with the Artisan Cheese Board and the PEI Mussels steamed in a smoked sweet potato and Sauvignon Blanc cream sauce. This was my 2nd time I'd been in 6 months. The first time was a tad better. I got the special pasta dish and it was not good. $29 for a pasta dish with 3 shrimp and 4 clams would be ok if it was delicious but it was not. My husbands dish was scant. Flounder was small portioned and... More

I led a group to tour an exhibit at the Columbia museum of art. I used trip advisor to find a good restaurant, within walking distance that would take reservations for 30 for lunch. I found Hampton street vineyard. They were extremely accommodating, even taking separate checks. The food was excellent and the service superior. Everyone was delighted.

Excellent service and great food. I have never had a chicken pot pie like this before. It had such great flavor. I also had one of the shrimp pasta with white wine sauce that was on special. It was the best meal I have had in a very long time. It was three of us and we each ordered something... More

Just left there from picking up lunch. Have heard good things about this place so always wanted to try. I had the pasta carbonara and it was average at best. My co worker had chicken pot pie or should I say chicken soup. Was hoping for more. Maybe dinner would be better. Willing to give it another try and hope... More

My Co-Workers and I were lucky enough to dine here for our holiday lunch and we have a wonderful time. Our server was wonderful and was very knowledgeable about the menu items and specials for the day. I had one of the specials of Grilled Corvina fish topped with an orange bacon chutney, whipped potatoes, and sauteed asparagus. It was... More

We eat here often. The chef prepares dishes that are thoughtful and absolutely delicious. We had dinner on new years eve. The atmosphere was great, food, as always excellent (i had the bone in pork chop with mushroom borderlaise) but the service left much to be desired. Our server was dressed in this God awful bustier! When I go to... More

This is our special events restuarant. Special friends, special days,. Food is always freshly prepared to order, served hot and timely. Great appetizers, wines, and entrees. Small kitchen turns out creative dishes. Service is always great. Servers know when to show, giving the customer the right amount of attention.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Great wine selection, The beet salad is far more than just a salad. It was out of this world and perfectly balanced. My Wife had the Salmon and it looked magnificent; she said it was. I had the duck, the meal was very good. Duck was cooked perfectly ( I need to remeber to order Rare and... More

Excellent food! Well prepared seafood, meat, salad and deserts. However, when you go to a restaurant that advertises prominently that it has been repeatedly recognized by Wine Spectator as having a Top Wine List, you do not expect to order 5 different bottles of wine and be told 4 are no longer available, one corked and ultimately never get a...
