Amazing Shrimp Kabob & Damascus Bread! The hummus was delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh and so tasty. It can be difficult to get ‘comfortable’ going out during this COVID-19 season, but Al-Amir was super welcoming and very very safe and clean. Our waiter was...perfect!More

We have been there twice in the past month. The first time, we had the lamb gyros. They were delicious! We went back today, and had the protein bowl. Again, the food was amazing and the service is great. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Three of us ate here for lunch. I ordered a chicken dish, it was dry and not very tasty. The salad was good and the baba and bread was good.

Chicken was dry and presentation was extremely sloppy... There were random food items, for things not on the menu, all disorganized on the front counter. The lamb gyro was frozen lamb meat stacked together. Sadly, not one good thing to say about this place. Would...give 0 stars if possible.More

This restaurant is closed at this location. They moved to a smaller, walk-in location a few blocks away at 2431 Main St. (North Main or "NOMA" area). Great food!

The place is clean and the food is acceptable. There is need to improve the food. Maybe having pictures in the menu will be helpful.

Passes to be the McDonalds of the middle eastern food.. everything looked and tasted like fast food restaurant. Nothing was middle eastern about it, not the staff, atmosphere, food taste, only names of dishes which were way over priced for the fact that everything was...prepared without real taste. Grape leaves I think were canned, gyro I think is from frozen no sauce or salsa, pizza so plain something was missing, shawarma was cubes of lamb. Overall, this place will not satisfy your middle eastern/Lebanese food craving.More

I have been a semi-regular at Al-Amir for several years now, but after my last time there, I won't ever go back. I've had two problems with dishonest wait staff. Last year, I went with a group of co-workers. We all paid separately, and when...all of our debit card transactions ran through, the waiter added an extra $1 to all of our tabs. (on top of what we all tipped). I contacted the restaurant, they were apologetic, and said they would mail us gift cards. None of us ever got them. No big deal, things happen. I kept going. Two weeks ago, a co-worker and I went for lunch. Paid separately. He paid cash, I paid with card. When the transaction cleared my account, the waitress had charged my account for both, and she apparently just pocketed the cash. I went by to talk to the manager, but he wasn't there. Left my information, but nobody has ever contacted me back. After two bad experiences and supposed lack of concern by management, I won't ever go back. Too bad, too, because the food is good.More

The food is fresh and prepared a few minutes before serving you. I take all my business partners to this restaurant because it has great atmosphere and friendly, yet professional, service
