Dickey's is conveniently located in an area that has varied stores, eating places, etc. Good choices we like are the sandwiches made of wonderful southern barbeque and the sauces that compliment them.
Friendly service, great barbeque options/sauces, yummy sides--we especially enjoy having lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Their fried okra is perfect for this life-long Southerner.
Went there since little pigs was closed and was kinda disappointed. Stood in line for 20 mins. Some of their side dishes they was out of. A floor drain was backed up and you could smell the sewage. I ordered ribs and fries, my wife...More
I paid for two meals and got baby scoops of meat and sides. The sides come in these deceiving cups that has about 3/4 inch platform at the bottom to make it seem like its more...and its not even filled to the top. I suspect...More
The reason to go to this place is for the beef brisket. Fork tender, melts in your mouth. South Carolians brought up with vinegar pulled pork may be surprised with this smokey, tender meat. Normally if brisket is done correctly it will be served in...More
Can't speak for the ribs or pork, but the beef brisket was nothing to write home about. Some decent smoke but no flavor, not even a dry rub. Dickey's is a chain that does no offer anything to write home about. Fires, onion things, okra...More
Okay so I don't even like brisket, or didn't before I had this sandwich. It is sooooo good. I'm born and raised from South Carolina and this is my favorite barbecue place at the moment! If you go on Saturday u can get a drink,...More
I was NEXT in line. In front of me was a woman probably mid 40's. She was asking question after question about various menu items. So many questions that it was getting obnoxious. So obnoxious, that two additional employees joined the cashier to assist in...More
Last resort to finding bbq on a Sunday .. it was decent .. I prefer the mustard sauce and Potatoe salad over the actually ribs ... not nasty ... But definitely not the absolute best but I definitely loved the cup ! Very cute souvenir!...More
I saw a groupon offered for this place and thought it would be a opportunity to check out the food since I've never eaten here nor do I know anyone who has. The groupon required me to order online so I did, and my husband...More
It was great to finally eat at a barbecue place in Columbia that doesn't have mustard based sauce. The food was good and the manager was extremely friendly. It's defiantly a place to go back to.
Dickey's offers several meat choices, sides and a special treat...free soft serve. The fried okra is superb.
This was my first time eating Dickey's BBQ since it opened in Columbia. I've never heard of Dickey'syou BBQ sojoints I decided to give it try. I ordered the smoked turkey breast with mac &cheese and fried okra. Soon as I returned home and opened...More
We have been to Dickey's before for the ribs, but this time I decided to try the LiL Hoagie w/ pulled pork. It was delicious, but the fried okra was off the chain. My husband got the usual ribs platter and it was also very...More
