Amazing. Don’t have to be a vegan to love this place. Been waiting to try it for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. Had bbq chicken platter with black eyed peas, rice, and Mac and cheese. The peas were one of the best things...I’ve ever had anywhere. Seriously. Can’t wait to try other items in the futureMore

I visited the Columbia area and this restaurant was recommended by the Hyatt. The staff was not friendly. The prices are expensive. I had the short ribs, mac n cheese and cabbage. The mac n cheese was horrible with the worst ingredients I have ever...tasted in a vegan mac n cheese. If you live in the area, please go to Whole Foods or somewhere else to have vegan mac n cheese. The cabbage was al dente and should have been cooked longer. The short ribs was not faux true to its name. My friend had the chicken sandwich and there were no complaints.More

Wow what an excellent find! A Must visit if in the area for some delicious food! The sit down was unfortunately closed so we had to order online but was worth the disappointment of not dining in. We ordered the hot chicken sandwiches and “cheese”...sticks which were AMAZING!!! Plus there were two sides each of which I had to take home because I was so full. Everything was made with love and so so flavorful. We will be back while we are here. Highly recommend to any vegan connoisseur or person wanting to try vegan food. You will be shocked how delicious and like texture to meat it taste. Please open your indoor dining!!!More

This was my first visit to Peace of Soul but it will not be my last. It is all order ahead of time snd pick up. My order was ready 15 minutes earlier than originally stayed and I was notified. I got the sausage (vegan),...Mac and cheese, collards and purple cabbage. OMG, it was all delicious! The Mac and cheese was so creamy and melted in my mouth, the tomatoes and sausage had a kick but very tasty, the purple cabbage is probably the tastiest and best I have ever had. The collards are not loaded with fat back or pork like I am use to but the more I ate, I decided I liked just as much or better. I will definitely order from here again!!More

Def in my top 3 for favorite places to eat in Columbia! (And I am a committed carnivore.) Food is just killer every single timne and the friendliest service feels like family. Catch them in their truck around town while they renovate the restaurant. Go...back to work feeling great and plenty of energy.More

I am not a Vegan; however, I am not a meat eater/lover either. I don't eat pork, beef, lamb or very much turkey. I am also trying to give up chicken. I do eat eggs and some other dairy products. Therefore, I am not classified...as vegetarian or vegan. I do enjoy good food;however, so I don't frown upon other types of cuisines. A Peace of Soul's building is currently undergoing renovation so they are operating out of a food truck. If you follow them on Facebook, you will see where they go during the week and the hours. This was my first vegan experience. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger because I wanted a burger without having a real burger (beef). I was surprised that this Vegan burger was so good! It was also big and had the burger fixings of lettuce, tomatoes and onions. My daughter helped me finish the burger and said it was really good! I choose the two sides of collards and Mac and cheese. I liked the sides. Particularly the collards. The Mac and cheese was just okay for me. The prices of the meals start from $10+ because as everyone knows Vegan food is not cheap! I would visit again but may just get the burger because alone it was filing. My husband had the chicken strip meal. He did not share, so I guess that tells you his enjoyment level....More

Find them at the very end of the soda city fest closest to the capital building. Get there early and wait if you need to. As a lifelong vegetarian I had a blast getting all that 'chicken' off the 'bone'. I had the jerk a...few weeks ago and the bbq today. The purple cabbage was stomp your foot good too. The rice with a little bit of that bbq sauce was everything. I highly recommend this everyone vegan to carnivore. Even my 4 year old like it. They're a destination stop for us now.More

This is the best food I have ever had, not the best vegan food, but the best food. The atmosphere is a bit cluttered, but the smell of the food will distract you from all the interesting decorations. While you wait to order view the...art work for sale. There isn't any waste on paper menu or business cards. Read the board and attempt to pick just a few items. My friends and I ordered 6 different sides to try as many things as possible. However, we both ordered the meatless meatballs because everyone in line recommended them. Also, many of patrons had them on their plates. Awesome choice! The sauce on the meatballs were decadent. Truly memorable. The curry potatoes were light in flavor, not overwhelming. The mac-n-cheese-less seemed to be a signature dish. Totally, worth returning for this item alone.More

This was a great spot for a good southern vegan meal! I had a plate with four sides and they were all delicious. It’s a small place with friendly staff and good background music. It was a nice place for lunch while passing through Columbia.

Real southern cuisine that is uniquely vegan! If you are vegetarian or vegan and never get to eat southern food, this place is a real treat! Interestingly, even my meat eating friends really enjoyed it, so it's good for everyone. The only downside is that...all dishes were very sweet. Worth a try!More

My sister and I visited Lambs Bread Vegan Cafe today. The food was absolutely amazing. I understand why the restaurant has been named Top 20 by the Food Network. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was so welcoming and helpful. We made...a vow today to visit at least once a month to try everything on the menu!More
