The hubby and I enjoyed a quick date night at Cellar on the Greene. Monday's are $15 bottle nights! Excellent selection of wine as always! We split a bottle of Tempranillo and each ordered the 3 courses for $22 per person. My hubby got the shrimp app, pompano main dish & the creme brûlée dessert. I had the tuna nachos,... More

I love this place. It can get crowded quickly since it's a small space. I typically go a little early or a little late to make sure so get a table. Small but yummy menu. What they make, they make very well. Great staff that seems very knowledgeable about wines and wine pairings. Great place to go for drinks and... More

The food was good in my opinion. It was above average cuisine but had a limited selection. The wine here is great, fantastic selection and reasonably priced. The service at the bar seating was really what wowed me though. Our bartender/server was so knowledgable and patiently answers all of my questions. The restaurant also offers great deals, so follow their... More

We were given a gift certificate that was good for either Mr. Friendly's or Cellar on the Greene. We had eaten at Mr. Friendly's many times and had never even heard of Cellar on Greene so we decided to give it a try. When we got there, we saw it was a small wine bar/restaurant and I wasn't real sure... More

Brought our 3 young adult daughter's here after graduation ceremonies at UofSC where one of them has just graduated. Three other young adults joined us for a party of eight. Arrived early around 5:30pm and got 7 seats at the bar for apps and cocktails. Featured red wine that eve was the Machete, which was wonderful. Soft shell Crab was... More

Bread pudding is the best dessert I've ever had! Great wine! Loved the three course deal. Everything we had was superb!

Finally got to check this place out and its as good as many have mentioned. It's a small wine bar, but that adds to the intimate ambience. Their 3 courses for $22 is a great deal. I started with the yellowfin tuna nachos. Followed by the duck breast and finished the meal off with frozen chocolate mousse. Each food item... More

Good wine and fabulous food. Laid back, social, artsy setting. Creative menu with great execution. The only downside was the seating; it was rather uncomfortable and limited and probably not the best place for a family.

The three course meal value cannot be beaten. Nicely prepared and presented. Nice wine selection and small collection for sale by the bottle. Inventive plates with a European flair. Service is always good, not perfect, but totally adequate. Valet parking option is super option. One of my favorites for affordable yet nice.

We decided to try Cellar on the Greene for a weeknight couples get together. Because the restaurant is small, and they do not take reservations, we got there early. (5:30pm). Our first surprise was that their featured wines are 1/2 price (for a bottle) on Thursday nights. Each couple ordered a bottle and what wasn't finished was corked and bagged... More
