I cannot imagine a worse Mediterranean meal.I had the falafel platter. This included 8 pieces of charred and burnt falafel that tasted like it was made from a box mix. It had four meager pieces of pita which reminded me of very stale store bought...pita bread. The pita did not even seem to be heated up or toasted, just straight out of a plastic bag. The bulk of the salad was sliced domestic cucumber. They couldn't be bothered to find Persian cukes. It was said to have Lebanese pickle. The pickle was not Lebanese. It tasted like store bought garlic dill pickle, specifically much like a Clausen kosher dill pickle. I picked at the salad to find anything remotely Mediterranean or Middle Eastern without success. The hummus was bland and grainy. Grainy hummus is common from a lack of rehydration of box mix ingredients. Moving on to my wife's chicken platter. This had breast meat chicken pieces that must have been reheated from much earlier in the day. Dry as a bone. Not tasty. The salad was similar to mine except for the addition of a few crumbs of feta cheese. Her platter included crinkle cut french fries that were cold, mushy, and very American. In all, a very disappointing dinner of leftovers from earlier in the day that were poorly kept, poorly reheated, poorly prepared to begin with. My last complaint is the environment. We tried to sit at two different booths but the tables were too large so not enough room. We ended up in a booth with more room but the seats seemed to have no padding. Dismal dining room.More

The gyro meat was good, veggies good. The pita was tough and chewy. The fries were crinkle cut and a bit soft. The pasta salad was delicious. The service was great, waitress very friendly and honest about menu items, service fast.

Stopped at Pitas at the recommendation of my wife who works downtown. Greek and Mediterranean dishes. ( Greek Fest was going on several blocks away, but was too crowded, too hot, and not that appetizing for 1:00 in the afternoon. ) Nice but not fancy...interior good for casual or on the spur of the moment meal. Air Conditioned! Wife had the chicken salad, I had the marinated lamb platter. Delicious. Has take out and looks like many locals either eat in or take out lunch.More

I've driven by Pita's multiple visits as my client is nearby. Parking lot always full so decided to stop. I had baba ghanoush and gyro. Truly enjoyed baba ghanoush. Gyro was good but pita very greasy. I do like the pita warmed but this was...to much on outside. Staff very nice, place very clean. I think a must stop. Prices very reasonable.More

I have ordered several items, all were great. My favorite is probably the Lebanese chicken wrap but I prefer it with to Zieke instead of garlic paste. The kitchen and wait staff are fantastic. I’ve never received anything but top-notch service.

Ely, Mark and staff serve up some fabulous genuine middle eastern food. Eat there 10-14 times a year for dinner and dinner club gatherings.Love their always fresh pita bread as well as the freshness of all our meals. I'm a raw Kibbeh fan (eat with...olive oil, garlic sauce, fresh pita) but they do a wonderful job with baked Kibbeh as wellMore

At the suggestion of the waitress I ordered a Gyro which was supposed to be a favorite. So, I ordered it with chicken. It looked really good but when I tasted it, the taste was not there for me. They put a very generous portion...of chicken on the Gyro but had almost no lettuce, tomato or onion. It was basically a chunky chicken sandwich. The tzatziki sauce, which I had on the side, was extremely thick, I like it a little more thinner to coat the Gyro, and not much flavor. The side dish of falafel was fairly good. Probably won’t be back.More

Had lunch here with a group and we were treated well. I had a tasty Gyro and did not venture into some of the exotic Mediterranean offerings from the Lebanese restaurant.

Do not be put off by the outside appearance of this restaurant nor the inside. The food is what really matters and boy did this place deliver with amazing, great tasting Lebanese food. I went here for dinner with a friend and we started with...the Sampler Platter which was overflowing with goodness. Great portion sizes of the hummus, baba ghanouj, tzatziki sauce, tabouli and vegetables served with warm pita bread. This in itself could have been a great and filling meal. My friend had the steak wrap with fresh, homemade sweet potato fries, I had the mixed grill platter which could have fed a small army. The plate with overflowing with lamb, perfectly cooked chicken slices (not dry and stringy as overcooked chicken gets) and perfectly seasoned kofta burgers served over rice and grilled vegetables. We both took home to go boxes. And then we had a piece of their baklava. Normally I am not a fan of this dessert as I find most just swimming in honey which I find overpowers the taste of the filling. Theirs was made with rose water and came in three varieties - pistachio, walnut and cashew. We shared a piece of the pistachio baklava and the taste was sublime. You could taste the filling and it did not try and stick to your teeth, I was very tempted to take some home with me!!! The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get, I know I will return.More

I eat here quite frequently and requested some extra dressing. The salads are huge and very tasty but they put the dressing on themselves. I was surprised that I was charged $1 for dressing. I'd prefer them letting customers put dressing on their own salads....It just seemed a bit petty to me. The stuffed grape leaves are very good as well as the hummus.More
