Ate here this past weekend. The food was great, but Rebecca was HORRIBLE!!! After waiting 30 minutes for my check she took my card and went around to different tables with my card in her hand (during this pandemic). The waitress chased me and my...friend outside demanding we give her pen back. Btw I've been using my own pen at establishments because of COVID-19. I told my grind to hop in the car and drove off. Understand this situation could have escalated quickly with a possible physical altercation and police being called. Because of the recent racial tension I decided to be the bigger person. I called the manager a few days later, but David justified the actions of his employee, which were UNACCEPTABLE. Bottom line, do not eat here. Too many other restaurants in the area that offer the same type of food. Stop giving people money when they give disrespect.More

These types of restaurants seem to have popped up everywhere, and we're trying them all. First two items that I didn't let impact my review: music - not to my taste, no horrible but not my style; one part of the ambiance is to allow...folks to write on the walls and seats, again not my style and they need to monitor some of it. One at our table was very inappropriate for public display. Now the food, all these restaurants are very similar and this one is as good as the others. Headless shrimp in various sauces, Cajun medium is good but a very little less hot as the others, but that's ok. My wife said the same about her garlic butter with seasoning. One thing that is different from the others, they give you more potatoes. We'll be back.More

Excellent food and great service . Definitely a new experience that I would recommend overall. Was disappointed with the lava cake no chocolate liquid inside it but this is a place I would come again.

This is not your traditional seafood restaurant. Their specialty is the the boils. While do have fried fish options you are not going to get any grilled fish. That is not what this place is about. You are not going to get a salad or...much vegetables. Think of it as if you are going to a crab boil at a party in Louisiana. There won't be salads and sides. There are lots of choices of what to have in your boil. Crab legs, various mussels, shrimp, sausage, craw fish, clams.. You choose the seasoning and the heat factor. My son did the medium or hot and found he wanted it stronger, so would do extra hot next time. There were three of us and we were happy with our boils. We did not get any appetizers. I would go back. The key is, we did our research before going and knew what we were getting. Had no issues with service and our waiter explained how everything worked since this was out first time. Food arrived within a reasonable time. We went on a Friday night and got there before six and it was not crowded. When we left it had filled up but was not packed. Not a place I would go to a lot but I will go back. Again, this is not a traditional seafood place.More

If I could put less than one star, I would. Our first and last visit to Yummi Crab. The nightmare started from the beginning. We received our appetizers with our food. No silverware. No tartar sauce. No extra napkins. Nothing. We were a party of...four, and our friend never got her crab legs! We thought that was their specialty! The food that we received (shrimp, oysters) was overcooked. Chowder was lukewarm. Straight from a can was our guess. Service was horrible. Our waitress just couldn’t get it together. We were there at 3:30 in the afternoon. No excuse for this horrible experience because they were not busy! Asked to speak to the manager, but she offered no apology or anything. We paid for an expensive meal that was not edible. Terrible experience. Don’t waste your money on Yummi Crab.More

We were there for the first time and had the seafood boil. It included jumbo shrimp, red potatoes and corn on the cob all boiled in a plastic bag. It was boiled in a mixture of melted butter and seasoning of your choice. It was...good but not worth all the mess eating it... Guess thats why they give you a bib. Prefer a low country boil without all the greasy mess seasoned with old bay or Cajun. They have fried catfish too that looked good but I haven't tried them. I'll save that for a future visit.More

Let's start by saying that you are coming to Yummi Crab for the EXPERIENCE. I haven't been to a meal like it before where your entree is served in its own bag...prepared JUST for you! SERVICE: The service WAS a bit slow as others have...noted but keep in mind that they are still fairly new and servers are just getting the hang of it. Also, there was a very large party when we arrived (25+ people) so be patient. FOOD: The restaurant has a full bar and the menu offers many delightful options. The majority of our party ordered the custom seafood platters where you choose your seafood, spices, level of hotness (mild, medium, etc...) Everything was cooked to perfection and we enjoyed it all...shrimp, crab legs, corn and potatoes. We also ordered a side of hush puppies and they were delicious. Our only suggestion would be to serve the crab legs with some sort of cracking utensil. They provide you with gloves but cracking them by hand is next to impossible. We did not order dessert but watched many walk by that looked yummy. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is casual and fun with writing on the walls and a nautical theme. We loved how different it was from anything else in the area. We will definitely be back!More

Had lobster and black mussels. Both were good. Served in plastic bags and you dump out on a metal raised lip plate. Strange venue, tv's with sports channels playing but no sound. Music playing over the PA. Fake signatures on the wood trim, but I...guess that is that motif. A little pricey, and a limited menu. No salads, only corn, potatoes and the entry.More

First time at this new restaurant. Nice atmosphere although all the writing over all the walls is weird. Prices are very reasonable and food was very good. Crab legs were pretty small. Shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes were very good.

FIrst there were dozens of waitresses half empty restaurant and they should have had time to clean the intestines off of the shrimp before they cooked it. Too greasy when the fried shrimp came to the table and we had to flag down other wait...staff to get help unfortunately i would never go back. Bad food. Also not a salad on the menu.More

Not a real wide variety of seafood other than the predicted national chains and we had Hope's for this one. The venue has been several different types of food, so the remodeling was done nicely. Service was slow and opening at noon makes it a...little awkward even if you are retired . We had a lunch special shrimp. Yumi season and it was great. We also had a fried oyster lunch and the oysters were perfectly done. So, good food , service needs to improve, but we will try it again.More

Sucked. Crab is an inappropriate word to use in naming this restaurant as they have no crabs other than crab legs. Their frenxh fries are the little thin ones which get cold before you have a chance to eat them. They serve their lb of...shrimp in a plastic bag which i found very gauche having to route around in a plastic bag full of hot shrimp for my dinner. They serve no veggies. Not a sign of coleslaw or salad on the plave and hush puppies are a la carte, paid for separately. This is not my idea of eating seafood. For my money, I'll go to Harbor Inn any day of the week.More

Yummy Crab has only been open for a few weeks at this location but they are off to a great start. The young staff is wonderful and proactive. Our waiter, Blake, was awesome and made sure our meal was ok. There's usually a crowd but...the tables open up very quickly. The young lady running the reception kept things moving and got people seated better than most hosts at more well known restaurants. Their main speciality is seafood boils and they do them well. I created my own boil and had shrimp and crab legs, Bae had crab legs, shrimp, and mussels with fries. The food wasn't salty nor greasy. The bags keep everything hot and you're given bibs, gloves, trash pail, and wipes to enjoy the feast. Because you order by the 1/2 pound or pound, you're insured great portions for the boils. And every bag is served with a huge pan to keep the mess down to a respectable level. The music and atmosphere was diverse and lively. Not too loud and perfectly set channels. I would definitely go again. I may visit the gym first, though. LolMore
