The ambiance was very relaxing. Nice family presence. The food was good but, a bit over priced. Overall a very nice date night.

Sunday brunch was great - we had the eggs benedict and crab cake strata and the chicken marsala. Also, we enjoyed the creme brulee for dessert which was amazing! Service was knowledgeable and pleasant.

I have eaten here for lunch twice, and feel I can now judge the quality of the restaurant. I very much enjoy Italian cuisine, and believe this is one of the best, if not the best, Italian restaurants in the Columbia area. The food and service was outstanding both times. The restaurant is a bit of a hike for us, about 40 miles away, but was well worth it. The menu selection is fabulous, the portions were HUGE, the service was terrific (Nick!), and the atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely return.

My husband and I arrived after the lunch rush around 2pm. After sitting for fifteen minutes without a chance to order lunch we decided to leave. There wasn't a courtesy check in to say we will be waited on shortly. The location was subpar. The interior was subpar and the menu was dull. I'm not sure how this place was... More

Adam and Betsy Huneau, owners *********** Alodia's Cucina Italiana is a restaurant born from the love of an Italian family. Proprietor Adam Huneau's first restaurant is sure to wow taste buds with his authentic Italian Cuisine comprised of recipes that have been pulled from the pages of his family's cookbook. Named after his Great-Grandmother, Alodia's fare and ambiance resounds with the smells and tastes of Old Italy. Fresh sauces and homemade pastas are the foundation of the menu that brought generations together. Adam is devoted to making his restaurant as inviting and warm as his own family's kitchen. It was the love of food and family that allowed Alodia to cook for her nine children, even through the struggles of the Great Depression and World War II. It was her food that strengthened her children, but it was her love that strengthened her family. Adam and his wife Betsy are proud to bring Alodia's food to a new generation. We hope that you will join us at Alodia's Cucina Italiana for Italian food that dazzles the taste buds and warms the soul.. Brunch on Sundays: 11am-2pm. Dinner: 5pm-9:30pm.
