First, food was well prepared. Shrimp, oysters & catfish really good. Removed tails from catfish for some reason (-1). Salad was fresh &Greek dressing tasty. Now the not so great. Oyster stew had too much spice. Basil and/or oregano don't belong in oyster stew. Serving...More

I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some good reasonably priced seafood. My husband ordered the broiled sea bass and I had the broiled snapper. Both were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We would not recommend the fries but they do offer...More

This was the first time I’ve had lunch at Golden Bay, but it won’t be my last. My catfish filet entree ($6.62, incl. tax) was big and delicious, the vegetables were steamed just right, and the hush puppies complemented the catfish very well. I opted...More

We went during a very quiet evening. It was our first visit, and we loved the murals in the dining room! I had well-prepared chicken (not a fan of fish, but I love some hush puppies), while my partner enjoyed a large platter of seafood....More

On exterior looks, you might have second thoughts about eating there. It looks like a Mexican Restaurant was once here. The seafood was good, large portions, and reasonably priced. There is a kids menu. Service was good and waiter attentive to our needs. We were...More

Was in the mood for fried jumbo shrimp and fried oysters. Not on the lunch menu but Andre hooked me up with a dinner menu. I was impressed that the shrimp were fresh and properly deveined. Oysters were on the small side but everything was...More

Grease galore... Just ran out of Tums. Clam chowder tasted bad. Blooming onion was too greasy to eat. Assorted fried fish platter was tasteless. Not a good pick for seafood.

We had the lighter plate. It was way more than enough. We all took some home. They offer hand battered onion rings that were delicious with several options to dip them in. The wait staff was excellent. They were able to give good info about...More

Occasionally, we run out from work for a casual lunch. This is a fried seafood restaurant that is reasonably priced. The service is very good. (Clare is the best!)

Yes. They have most of their seafood entrees available broiled. Ate lunch there today and it was great!

Lunch prices seem reasonable but dinner prices are high for what you get. Had shrimp and oyster combo and it was $13.
