Totally comfy dive bar. They have ALLAGASH WHITE! Great tap selections and knowledgeable staff....sometimes they even squeeze in entertainment.

One of the few places serving food late in the area. Great bartender and beer selection. But, the food was sub-par for this visit. Not sure I'll make it back

This pub is one of the oldest in downtown Clemson. It is full of regulars who are as diverse as truck drivers to English professors. It tends to attract grad students, literati and professors but the atmosphere is really welcoming to all. Great beer selection and good eats. Order the PCB basket for a potpourri of fried items - cheese,... More

Nicks Bar in Clemson is my second favorite place in town after my home. The atmosphere is always very welcoming, so are the bar tenders and the owner himself. This is not a place for you if you are into spirits cos you won't find any here, but I think that adds to it's charm. If you are not in... More

Nicks was an interesting place. There are plenty of folks there in all age ranges from college age students to professors and people just in town to visit the campus. Good drinks, excellent beer selection. Very reasonable price.

It's too small, too loud, has too many beer options to work through in a logical way and is absolutely perfect. This is the kind of place you reminisce about when you don't live in Clemson anymore. Get there early if you want a place to sit, but even if you have to stand around, it's the best bar in... More

Varied tap list with some old favs as standard taps. Decent food and diverse crowd. They definitely price themselves out of the undergrad group so look for university professors, administrators and grad students as you barmates

I've been visiting downtown Clemson since the late 70's. There are just a few things that haven't changed, at least a little. These include Judge Keller's Store and Nick's Tavern. If you are looking for a relatively quiet spot with good sandwiches, good music, and a great beer selection, Nick's is the place! The draft beer selection is regularly updated,... More

This is a bar and not a restaurant. The food was below adequate. If you have drank enough, it may be good, but only then. The other reviews that said the food was good must have been from people that had drank heavily. We should alhavr know when the bartenders appeared confused that we were ordering food. The fried food... More

Great selection of brews. Best in Clemson. The service is slow and questionable, but the beer makes up for it. The food is good. I especially like the fries mushrooms!
