Best sushi by far in these parts. Steaks and seafood are always fresh and impressive. Blackberry cobbler is a must when in season.

A friend recommended Blue Heron and we weren't disappointed. They have a nice, reasonable wine list and our entrees - seafood pasta and the blackened salmon - were good. I'd have liked to see a little more seafood in the pasta, but it was good and filling. Service was also good and attentive while allowing us privacy.

Visited the Blue Heron on recommendation from hotel. We ate downstairs at the bar. Service was very spotty and we had to ask multiple times for menus and other items. Supposedly they were very busy, but you could not tell from where we were sitting. I had appetizers. I ordered a Cesear's salad with grilled shrimp, but the waitress came... More

A large group of us went to the Blue Heron during the week. With reservations they had prepared well for us. There is a large variety of foods, drinks and desserts. Brad worked our table and was attentive and helpful. Foods ordered from our group included sushi, pizza (they have pizza with duck!), grouper, shrimp and grits, crab cakes and... More

As a Clemson native, I confidently recommend Blue Heron as my favorite restaurant. The upstairs dining room is fabulous, but the downstairs bar, where the full menu is served, serves up a great atmosphere in addition to the wonderful food. Thursdays for Burger and a Brew is one of my favorite nights to dine downstairs.

The Blue Heron has never failed to serve us good food. Sushi appetizer was excellent. Best restaurant in the area.

Enjoyed a nice lunch here. The food was good and the portions large and very reasonably priced. The highlight was the spicey Bloody Mary with seasoning on the rim of the glass. Request with the seasoning and it will be memorable.

This is a decent, rustic restaurant with sushi and regular American food. The food is of good quality but the prices are a bit higher, in my judgment. Service is good and waiters are friendly. I would recommend this restaurant.
