I was with my son to check out Clemson University. We had driven 8 hours and when we checked in to the hotel, we asked for a recommendation for a good pizza place. Both clerks at the desk recommended Peppinos. We ordered a large pie and I also had a side salad which was tasty. We were eating right around... More

We were looking for a place with decent food, beer, and not a crazy wait to eat, and found it all here. We put our order in, got a pitcher of beer, and found a table outside. Our pizza and fries were ready about 20-30 minutes later, and they were delicious. This is coming from a NJ person with lots... More

DO NOT PARK AT PEPPINOS!!! I cannot stress this enough because you will be forced to pay a fine at their discretion which personally cost me $60. Being almost 800 miles from home, one of the reasons that I loved Clemson was that it was a home away from home, a family. After getting charged I looked online and noticed... More

One of the best places in the Clemson and surrounding area for pizza, very much New York style. They opened one in Anderson, SC but it closed down, why, I can only guess that Anderson has no taste for good pizza. Admittedly, there is a lot more of competition now in the Clemson/Pendleton area with other pizza shop owners moving... More

very good pizza, and this is from a NY'er. We have been there a few times and each one was the same . The service is top notch the draft beer cold and fresh. There are TV's to watch and plenty of room to be loud while cheering.

I didn't notice til after I used it and ate :/ pizza is okay, not as good as Tadaro. Employees look like they couldn't care less. It was very hot inside and the place was filthy. I won't be coming back.

There are two schools of people in Clemson, Peppinos people who care about the quality of their food vs Todaros who want a quick slice. Granted most of them rate their food and experience at 2 am in the morning when the bars close - we're passionate on which side we land. It's been a while since I've been here... More

We stopped here for lunch while at a rowing regatta. Some people in line said you couldn't go wrong with the pizza. They were absolutely correct. We ordered a 14 inch pepperoni and mushroom. The only thing is I wished it had more mushrooms. We thought it was too big for the two of us but we ate the whole... More

My first visit to Peppino's was in 2004, when a friend invited me out for pool and pizza. I was hooked, and visited often. At some point their pizza recipe changed, and it just ruined what they had going on. Peppino's tried to be like Mellow Mushroom and added "gourmet" pizzas, but you can't have a gourmet pizza in a... Yes, it may have been 11pm after the football game and it may have been a few years since I've gone to Clemson, but there is just something about Peppino's that just always hits the spot. Great pizza!
