We visited during happy hour, which is a pretty good deal. The mahi tacos offer up a large piece of fish served within a flour tortilla. It was good, but nothing outstanding. We also are the fried oysters. They have a great flavor. The portion is a bit on the small side. The steamed oysters were the best part of... More

Happened to walk past and stopped for lunch. A great variety of local oysters to taste or seafood selection of other choices. Large roomy place, high ceilings, nice decor and ambience. Good food.

We sat at the bar in the window. Great for "people" watching which is what we do best. Food was good and service was excellent.

The place was packed but bar seating comes and goes. I got right and and sat down. The bartender made an old fashioned for me and it was perfect. I then had the best oysters known to man. In fact after my first dozen I ordered another dozen. I also had the "Pearlz lager." It's brewed in Myrtle Beach but... More

Stopped in for happy hour looking for oysters and beer, ended up with a great meal. The dinning room and bar was packed at 5 pm but we got lucky when a sidewalk table opened up. Plan to get there early if you want to go for happy hour as the local crowd descends on the place. The oysters were... More

Upon my daughter-in-law's recommendation, we went to Pearlz's Oyster Bar on E. Bay St. at 5 PM to enjoy happy hour till 7PM. The drinks and food were fabulous and the service was great. We went back again the next night.

Let's start with the bad news. It's dark and dingy and has odd odor to the place. It needs a make over. With that's said, the food is good and the fried oysters are excellent.

I loved this place!! It was so good! I'll start with the atmosphere. It is a family friendly place people of all ages will love. It has good music and has WORKING fans. It's well lit and isn't cramped. Now you may want the kids menu. It has fish sticks(COD), fried shrimp, burger sliders, hot dogs and grilled cheese. Now,... More

Were able to find seats in the window at this busy restaurant for a light lunch. Good choice of wines by the glass but the Riesling I wanted was not available sadly. We had a beautiful crab dip and fried shrimp while we watched the world go by outside!
