This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. It was down pouring, and my spouse went to park while we immediately got seated. Our server was fantastic. The brisket was amazing (my spouse and I split a two meat platter). The sausage was delicious...too! I loved the local beers on tap and the generous portions for the kids meal. We had a fun dessert as well! This is definitely worth the drive!More

We first saw S & S driving by towards a plantation visit and just had a hunch. Looking at a couple reviews and the menu on route we new it was probably a winner, chicken dinner! Right away we were seated for an early dinner,...and the Grateful Dead streaming was a great sign! We order the smoked wings, Delicious and the 2 meat platter with brisket and pulled pork, brisket baked beans and corn pudding. Everything was quality and tasty, especially the incredibly tender and flavorful brisket. There sauces are all quite good and the corn pudding or souffle was yummy and uncommon on most menus. Very nice staff, great BBQ, Winner!More

Went to 1/2 price Wings Wednesday; outstanding service, excellent food and exceptional value for special. Our servers could not have been more professional and engaging; they really enhanced the dining experience. We cannot wait to go back!

Good food. Large portions. Partially ruined by the sourpuss of a waitress that we had. So much for southern hospitality ( and I’m southern) and was sorely disappointed

This BBQ joint was delicious and definitely worth the few minutes drive from downtown!! They had so many yummy sides we ordered the side plate to go along with our sandwich. Our favorites were the corn pudding, baked potato salad, and the Brunswick stew. The...pulled pork, smoked turkey and brisket were ordered and loved by all of us! Be sure to save room for the banana pudding, you don’t want to miss it!!More

Swig N Swine was a good BBQ restaurant in West Ashley. This was the first time we had visited this restaurant, and we wanted to try different things. There were five of us, so we ordered the Family Platter. It included pulled pork (very good)...with multiple sauces, prime beef brisket (good), smoked turkey (tasted great), smoked pork belly (good), house made sausage (tasted great), 1/3 rack of ribs (tasted great), smoked chicken wings (tasted great), and sides. We got mac & cheese, coleslaw, greens and beans with brisket. We ordered takeout, and the pickup service was fast and friendly. The food was still warm and really good after we got it home. I rate this restaurant a 9/10 for BBQ. We'll be going back.More

After a disastrous and disappointing dinner at Poogan's Smokehouse, we uber'd the next day to Swig & Swine. We got seated right away. Madison, our server, was friendly and efficient. Started off with sweet tea mojito ($9) for me and Bourbon flight of four ($25)...for my husband. Glad we picked their pimiento and crackers appetizer ($6) - loved the pimiento so much we ordered 1 to go to bring with us on our flight out the next day. We split the 3 meats combo ($24): pork belly, beef brisket and burnt ends. Our sides were creamy slaw, Mac and cheese and corn pudding. Totally hit the spot! Meats were moist, tender and tasty and perfectly done that we didn't need any of their 5 BBQ sauce options. Portions are generous that we tried hard to save room for a pecan pie but was just too full. We regretted not buying a slice to take back to our hotel. Manager Frank checked on us and made sure to engage with customers if all are ok. The restaurant is clean and observe cleaning and masking protocols. Madison explained the new Charleston cash vs credit card mandate which seems geared towards encouraging cash payments. The restaurant also sells shirts and have a nice full bar. It was a really nice dinner experience and a complete opposite of our bad dinner at Poogan's. Glad we made it here before leaving Charleston! Follow my IG: @i_therefore_concludeMore

Swig & Swine is fantastic, the service was so helpful & kind, & food was 10/10. Would 100% recommend. The ribs were amazing, and the potato salad and Mac n cheese sides were amazing as well.
