Just left Tristan's. Had a fabulous meal with excellent service. The Lamb Rib appetizer with their signature chocolate bar-b-que sauce was heavenly. The Filet and the Lamb were great, and a fine sorbet dessert ended a great night. Would return in a flash!

Late lunch (2:30PM on August 2, 2007) Waited 40 minutes for our food, even though there were only a dozen other people in the restaurant. Waiter explained they were having trouble "with the breading of the chicken." (???) I didn't need to know that. We...More

My wife and I recently ate at Tristan, and it really was a treat. I had the lamb rib-eye, and she had the butterfish. Both were extraordinary. The service was exceptional - very attentive. As another reviewer mentioned, the restaurant is pretty pricey, but I...More

We live and eat in downtown Charleston a lot. We chose to go to Tristan for New Year's Eve dinner because it was a 5 course meal and a Brazilian Orchestra. The service was excellent, the food was OK, the prices were HIGH, and there...More
