This was our second visit and we took some friends who we don't see very often. The free valet parking is a real plus on a Saturday nigh when god whole area is crowded. Our reservation was for 7pm and the table was ready right on time. Throughout he meal the service was attentive without being overpowering. The food was... More

We held a private party at the restaurant for around 40 people. Service was OK, sort of slow, but very friendly. Food was very good. Bar service was good as well. Would recommend for date night.

Food was below mediocre. Special salad was way over dressed-- too saucy to eat. Chicken parm and scallops were underwhelming. Way better off at mondos or wild olive

Wow! Used to love this place, atmosphere and service. Were these last night and it has changed dramatically. We were seated around 7:45pm and the lights were fully bright still. Nothing worse than being out for dinner and the manager has forgotten to lower the lights to an appropriate level. It made the atmosphere be more like a diner than... More

I recently visited Al Di La for my 3 year anniversary. I love coming to this restaurant for special occasions because it's intimate and they have great food. My favorite item on the menu is Fettucini Bolognese. I always try to get a different bottle of wine while I'm there too and haven't been disappointed yet. The only feedback I... More

I ran into this gem accidently. The restaurant I intended to dine at was closed, so I saw Al di La two doors down. It is located in the quaint neighborhood of Avondale. parking is slight but there are many places on the back and side streets. The food was excellent and service too! I had panini with ham, shrimp... More

Fun place. Good food all around - and large portions. Outdoor seating - in a fun area with several shops and restaurants. Their gnocchi stood out - light and fluffy. Best I've had (and I've had a lot). Definitely worth a visit.

we arrived early and, thus, had the full attention of the waiter. Atmosphere is semi-elegant. It is quiet and we could talk with each other in a very relaxed manner. The food, as always, was excellent. So glad we selected Al-Di-La for dinner.

Constantly good northern Italian food. Welcoming host and attentive servers. Inside or patio dining. Quiet, not rushed, hidden from most tourists

Our first night in Charleston, before we joined family and friends, we were fortunate to find Al Di La. The owner doubling as the maitre d' made us feel especially welcome. My wife had the bruschetta salad and the snapper and pronounced it may have been the best dinner she ever had. I had the tomato basil soup, which was... More
