Thoroughly enjoyed dining at High Cotton Charleston. Classy elegant dining room. Service was great. Food excellent. Started with the calamari. I ordered scallops for my main entree and my wife had the shrimp and grits. Sides included the brussel sprouts and truffle fries. Key Lime...Pie for dessert. Everything was prepared to perfection and tasted delicious. Definitely a place to include when looking for a special night out in Charleston.More

There was live music on Sunday night and the place was lively but not too loud for dinner. Our waitress Paula was awesome and very friendly. I had the mozzarella encrusted Halibut special and it was wonderful.

We visited High Cotton while in town for our anniversary after being recommended by several people. We arrived earlier than our reservation but we’re sat within 5 minutes! I ordered the filet and my wife, the fried lobster, both were great choices! Our only complaint...would be the unfriendliness of our waitress, she wasn’t rude but was not friendly at all. The management here was great, as they brought us two glasses of champagne for our anniversary and another came by later and thanked us for celebrating there. Needless to say we will be going back when in town!More

After walking around some of the major old town Charleston sites, we showed up for our 1:45 PM Sunday Brunch. We had a very nice two top window table in the large high ceiled room with the attractive fans. The staff appeared immediately with water...and interesting still warm squares of what appeared to be blueberry muffins. The atmosphere was great on a blowy cool day. Our waiter was very engaging and brought the trio of fruit nectars we ordered to go with bubbly. We started with an attractive cinnamon roll served with carmel sauce in a small frying pan. My wife had decadent brioche French toast, and I had a Belgian waffle with fried chicken. I think we both could have made better choices of the typical Southern fare. All our food was a B, but we enjoyed our meal a great deal.More

High Cotton in Charleston is a Southern tradition. We had an incredible night there! We got a table in the bar and settled in for some appetizers, drinks and jazz with Summer Royalty. It was a wonderful relaxing evening, sipping cocktails and then……The night turned...into a party! Summer Royalty had everyone up and dancing. It was such a great time.More
