Visiting High Cotton for our one year anniversary this past weekend and it left me wanting to write another review of the place that wow'ed us 5 months ago. This time our waiter, Keith, definitely took great care of us. We brought a very nice bottle of Opus and Keith didn't skip a beat with how to take care of... More

We had a very nice dinner a High Cotton starting with a cheese and charcuterie board. I am not a pate or liver fan and therefore did not indulge in such. I wish there was a choice for options of what you would prefer but the cheese and cured meats were delicious. Th steak dinner is typical but good. The... More

Great drinks and music. The bar was great, servers attentive and funny. A really good jazz trio was playing when we were in. We also liked that it was connected to bluegreens resort where we were staying.

Absolutely loved it. Had the duck with the potatoes au gratin and left nothing behind to witness. The staff was kind and attentive but the food was awesome. If the special is the stuffed trout try that also. Can't wait to be back in Charleston.

We went for brunch on Sunday. We had heard about the doughnut holes and they were sugary and flavorful. Like eating dessert before your meal We had the crab cakes Benedict & found the crab cakes to be heavily breaded and devoid of crab flavor. Kind of ruined the breakfast experience. If you have grits as your side, have them... More

My wife and I went to Charleston for a birthday weekend and chose High Cotton based off of the great reviews. The service was TOP class. Excellent wine list and an outstanding atmosphere. The food ranged from good to amazing. The crab mushrooms were fantastic, the triple chocolate cheesecake was the best I've ever had. My filet was quite average... More

We came here from Savannah for my partner's birthday, he had mentioned a while back that he wanted to try the restaurant, I am so happy we did! It was very busy (a Friday night) but the service was just on point that night. The moment we walked through the door the young ladies at the desk greeted us and... More

The wait staff is excellent, the food was above average but I was really disappointed in the highly touted and very expensive steak. I think it must have been grass fed beef because it had no taste and no flavor and I will ask in the future. But the place is pretty and my husband loved his fish. I will... More

This is a very lively fine dime. We ordered the onion soup and crab soup for starters. Then capped that off with the Atlantic Salmon and Halibut. Both were excellent. Melissa was our waitress along with the wine steward which was so attentive. Wine selection is extensive. We really enjoyed this after a long drive to get here.

I love high cotton! Every time I go the food is amazing and the staff are on point. The meat and cheese board appetizer is delicious! I always want to just eat a couple of those! But then I get the steak and it is always cooked exactly as I ordered and it is perfect! The staff is really friendly... More
