Darn right delicious!

I went with a group of 13 girls and this place was very accommodating for our large party. Our waiter, Charles, was so pleasant and attentive and his recommendations were on point! I had the fried chicken. I was weary of the collard greens since I don't like the bitter taste but he said they were... read more

I have missed my southern food as a transplanted Bostonian so when I was home with friends I wanted to show them authentic southern food and this was an exceptional example! We loved everything we ordered from pimiento verse to fried chicken and the superlative shrimp and grits with spicy sausage. And Slade our waiter gave us multiple recommendations for... More

My wife and I flew down from NYC this past weekend to check out Charleston. Went to Magnolia's on Saturday for lunch. Food was excellent and the place was beautiful. Service was friendly and efficient. We would definitely come back next time we were here.

We enjoyed Magnolias very much. Open all afternoon, it is one nice restaurant that is open for a late lunch and that is rare in this town for such a nice place. We enjoyed the menu and the service.

Magnolias is one of those historical places where you have to go if you ever decide to stop in Charleston. We went there for brunch. There are many options and everyone can find something they like. I had the parmesan crusted flounder and it was delicious, perfectly cooked. For dessert, we tried the southern pecan pie and it was really... More

If you are not disabled, this is a fine place to go. Unfortunately, I use a walker and my husband is on oxygen. We were told that the handicapped entrance was on the side. Walking halfway down the block over the 300 year old cobblestones was miserable; when I saw the two 7-9 inch high steps that the restaurant said... More

The serving sizes of the entrees are enormous. The salads are, likewise, huge. I had a cup of the tomato bisque, the apple and walnut salad, and the pan-seared scallops (an appetizer, but ate it at the main). Everything was delicious, particularly the pan-seared scallops. Whenever I'm in Charleston, I stop here for the scallops. There aren't many, but the... More

We made reservations for Friday at 6:00 for 2. The host was gracious as he escorted us to the Gallery in the rear of the restaurant. The white tablecloths, lovely decorations and soft music set the tone for relaxed dining. Susie, our server, was outstanding with her hospitality and knowledge of the dinner items. I had the braised brussel sprouts... More
