Magnolia's is one of the best restaurants in Charleston. I highly recommend the Fried Green Tomatoes. Don't miss this stop for dinner!

Magnolias was recommended to us by a friend who lives in the area but warned us about the service and he was right. The food was very good but the service did not reflect it. My husband and I waited close to 45 minutes for our dinner and during that time were given 3 excuses about them having large parties.... More

Magnolias is one of our "must-do's" each time the hubby and I come to Charleston. The food and service is always impeccable. We've always had wonderful experiences there. WARNING: go when you're hungry! The portions are large - you definitely get your money's worth. In fact, we asked our server of the portions were any smaller at lunch because we... More

We visited the restaurant for lunch and the food was fantastic. Every dish was excellent and the service was very good. This is an excellent lunch/brunch option.

Magnolias personnel are top notch from the reservation (a must), noting an 88th birthday, to prompt and courteous reception and seating. Its the perfect uptown/down south dining experience from the seafood rich She Crab Soup, Delicious Fried Green Tomatoes, to the Scallops and Specialty Fish of the night. A complete home run!! Service and Ambience are absolutely perfect. Unprompted, the... More

We had an amazing lunch at Magnolias. The service was impeccable. The ambiance was delightful, and our lunch was absolutely delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. The Ahi tuna tasted just like the fish leapt off the boat. Amazing. We can't wait to go back the next time we are in Charleston!

If the service at this establishment was as good as the food, I would not be able to say anything bad. I felt the place was under staffed and the staff over whelmed. I do not feel that the fact they had a large party is a reason for a couple to wait. This place is in a major tourist... More

After a walking tour in the sweltering heat, we welcomed the cool breeze of the air conditioner and the sweetest tea I've ever tasted. We were a little disappointed to be seated in the Gallery but not surprised as we showed up in shorts and sandals. A delicious lunch salad of salmon hit the spot. The shrimp po boy was... More

We loved the brunch on Sunday before leaving Charleston. I highly recommend reservations due to the fact that the restaurant was full. Luckily our table was ready. The pimento cheese has olives (I think) in them and while I love olives, it wasn't my husbands favorite. We had 4 different dishes and everything was cooked beautifully. The atmosphere is perfectly... More
