The good: The atmosphere and the employees. Both were wonderful. The specialty mixed drinks-I had a Spiced Orange Martini-it was wonderful-so they obviously have a great bartender. The bad: The food! We had the Bacon Sriracha Deviled Eggs, which were...the only way to describe them was rubbery and stale and old. I doubt they were made that day, I would... More

We decided to eat here based on all of the online reviews. For a tuesday night this place was fairly crowded. I booked a week in advance and my choices were 6:15 or 8:45, so we decided 6:15. I started out with the cocktail Bourbon cider punch with jalapeño bourbon honey, something different. It was perfect and even had a... More

We had a wonderful dinner at Magnolia's less then a week after Hurricane Matthew! The restaurant did not have any damage!!We had a reservation and we were seated right away. The special was a red snapper dish that was out of this world! The jambalaya South Carolina style was great, too! I would definitely go back and enjoy this wonderful... More

Celebrated our first full day of marriage with a special dinner at this fabulous restaurant. Blood orange martini was tasty and well prepared, our meals were outstanding, and the service was top notch. I'd suggest making reservations well in advance, place appears to book up fast, but worth the wait. Yum!

We ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. as my wife had eaten here 20 years ago and wanted to retry the shrimp and grits. The food is solid, and southern, and the service was very good. The Fried Green Tomatoes suggested by our waiter were the best we have ever had. They are served with Ham slices between... More

Sunday brunch at its finest. Delicous food, wonderful service, genteel atmosphere... We understood almost immediately why it is a Charleston favorite.

One of my all time favorites in Charleston. The fried green tomatoes are the best I've ever had and their steaks are fabulous. I've loved everything I've eaten here for lunch and dinner.

I had lunch here and would recommend it highly. I had the crab cake sandwich but my friend had the crab cake served with risotto and collard greens and I wish I had gotten that.

This restaurant was highly recommended so we gave it a try. Very nice atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food! My husband and I each had a filet, which was perfectly prepared, as were the asparagus and potato. The Waiter did a very nice job of choosing a wine that complimented the meal. For dessert we shared a serving of cinnamon... More
