Blossom is one of Charleston's popular places with an outside area for nice weather as well as an attractive interior. Wait service is quick and appropriate. Menu is fun and has interesting choices. Located near many other restaurants and an easy walk to the Battery or other parts of the historic district.

While visiting Charleston we have dined at Blossom two times in the last three years. During this visit we tried the She Crab soup which was very good. The scallops with risotto and corn puree were delicious and perfectly cooked. My husband was disappointed in the prosciutto wrapped pork with pimento cheese.

Excellent service, great menu (including some of our favorite wines) and the deserts that were offered are so good that we planned our meal around them.

Food was just average. My husband had the fried chicken and I had the prosciutto pizza which was way undercooked. Restaurant was extremely loud and our server was a huge disappointment.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Had the mussels in Roquefort cheese and the fish special. Best dinner during our stay in Charleston. Prices were reasonable and they had a great outdoor patio.

My husband and I first ate here for a late lunch right when we got to Charleston. The desk clerk at the hotel recommended it. I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the fried shrimp. Both were very good. Service was great. We then ate here again on our last day right before leaving for the airport... More

Stopped for lunch with my mom. Fresh low country cooking with fresh seafood served in novel ways. Really enjoyed meal and ambiance of the restaurant. Indoor and courtyard tables.

I've noticed a trend in Charleston. The really top tier restaurants have unparalleled service while the mid-tier (in my opinion) seem to think snooty service is ok. Blossom fits the bill. Went for brunch and the food was good. Like other mid-tiers - good but not great. However, a deep pet peeve is a server who behaves as if they... More

I had to try the crispy oysters as an appetizer to see what I was missing. They are nice but rich in terms of calories. The well cooked oysters are lined up on a very seasoned pad of cornbread with a wonderful sauce. They were good for a change and quite filling. The rest the menu consists of seafood and... More

We were in town for vacation and came upon this restaurant. The menu looked interesting and varied, so we stopped in. They started us off with some great bread and herbed butter + some pineapple flavored cocktails, which really hit the spot. The ambiance was classy, above average of other restaurants we'd been to. We tried the she-crab soup, which... More
