This is a very casual, small dining venue with only about 15 or so tables on a neighborhood corner. Parking may be dicey, and waiting must take place outside, But it's worth it, in my opinion. My wife recommended this place because she has celiac disease and it was on her gluten-free-friendly list. For example, all of their seven soups... More

A delightful start to our Sunday in Mt Pleasant. We sipped on mimosas and enjoyed and wonderfully prepared brunch. The mushroom soy dressing for our salad was very tasty and unique. Pleasant atmosphere and great service as well. Win win situation.

Cute, small, cozy lunch place or casual dinner. The black bean and goat cheese burger was on a whole other level of deliciousness! I will be back there!

Visited on a Friday night with 9 people. They seated us right away and everyone was extremely happy with their food. Parking directly across from restaurant. Not far from downtown!

Great arugula salad with garlic balsamic and goat cheese. I added shrimp. My husband enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich. Yum! Great place for brunch. And an entire carafe of Mimosas is only $10! 🍹

This was our first stop on our vacation. I felt like this place really embodied the Charleston culture. The food was amazing - shrimp and grits - and the atmosphere adorable. The wait staff were so friendly. The wine list was quite interesting too. We tried a chardonnay from Idaho.

The food here was good. It was chosen, in part, because my parents are vegetarian and they have great vegetarian options. My tuna salad sandwich was above average and it was all reasonably priced. The service was great! We never wanted for anything and the service staff was great with my young niece and nephew who were a little unruly.... More

Went with 3 adults and 2 small children. Staff were very accommodating - we ended up shutting the place down but didn't feel rushed out at all. Service was great, you can tell it's a pretty close-knit crew with a great management team. The star, however, was the food. Every single thing we had was outstanding; my personal favorite was... We took a day trip from Hilton Head Island to Charleston. First thing to find was a place for lunch. Five Loaves Restaurant was a place we decided on based on the reviews and the walking distance from the Visitor's Center. It is about a 1/2 mile walk but there are plenty of shops along the way on King Street.... More

We went for dinner, even though I know its mostly a lunch joint. I loved my salmon and kale dish. The servings were more than enough food. We also got a caprese special and that was delicious as well. Salmon is obviously more expensive than chicken/beef/vegan dishes, but I was happy my dish wasn't absurdly expensive.
