This isn't on the Main Street and a small building, but is just a block from the market. When you find it be prepared for some excellent food and baked goods! Had the State Street Biscuit when I was there and let me tell you, Awesome! Starts off with a homemade biscuit on the bottom, covered in a wonderful sausage... More

A friend of mine moved to Charleston and I went to visit. She said she had a fun place for us to get breakfast and took me to Dixie Supply. Now, I grew up Southern and I love Southern breakfast foods. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I wrapped my mouth around Dixie's biscuits and gravy and... More

We were walking around downtown Charleston, looking for a place to eat breakfast. Saw the line a line outside of the Dixie Supply Bakery and Cafe, and decided to get in line. It turned out to be a good choice. The line moved quickly, as the staff cranked out the food. It was hard to choose which item to order,... More

Grits were perfect, eggs were ok, but the biscuits weren't very good. Small portions too. Solid place to eat but don't go out of your way.

Little hole in the wall with AWESOME food. The specials were to die for...just not enough days in the week to taste them all.

Absolutely loved the food. Prepared in a tiny kitchen and served up HOT. Great selection and fun daily specials. Only downside: pretty tight quarters and AC that's not particularly powerful. Totally worth a visit.

We were in Charleston for 3 nights and ate breakfast there all 3 morning. It was recommended by the hotel as a funky place that Guy Fieri visited a few years before. We are big fans of his places. The tomato pie was EXCELLENT! Fresh heirloom tomatoes that tasted like they had been picked that day. The slice of pie... More

This was an ok place to eat. I think this restaurant was featured on a Food Network show at one time, which may be why it gets some attention. We ordered omelets which were fine, but nothing that we couldn't have gotten at Waffle House. Very small, hole in the wall place. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing that stood... More

We didn't make it until mid afternoon and they were running out of a few things. The State Street biscuit was delicious. Small eating area but no one was left standing.

My daughters and I had seen this place featured on Triple D and we were curious. Wow, we were not let down, the food is absolutely amazing, don't let the curb appeal put you off!!
