Yummie lunch in an old house turned into a restaurant (on the ground floor). You eat either on the veranda, in the former dining room or in the former living room. We didn't have reservations (recommend!!), so had to wait for 35 minutes but it was worth the wait. Nice atmosphere, quick waitress with a talent when it comes to... More

Food was awesome. We both had a rubbed local pork chop over faro with mushrooms and brussel sprout leaves. Just can't explain how delicious it was. Staff was super friendly. Kitchen staff were genuinely doing what they love. Will certainly be back. Music was great too! Love to be able to leave such a rave review.

We had the pleasure of eating here on our last night in Charleston. We started with the fried green tomatoes and truffle fries. We honestly could have stopped there. So delicious!!!! We had the short ribs and duck for our entrees and were not disappointed but the fried green tomatoes are a must if you eat here.

So helpful and accommodating! We had a reservation for what was supposed to be just the veranda but they found a spot for us inside on such a hot day. The local wreckfish special was amazing...absolutely perfectly in every way!!! Don't miss this restaurant!

We made a reservation for lunch based on reviews we read. We arrived on time and checked in inside. It's in an old house and the dining areas are very cramped. After they checked us in, they didn't tell us how long it would be. I waited around, but felt like I was in the way. There were others trying... More

My teenage daughter and I had the pleasure of dining here for lunch. We completely enjoyed the Chinese chicken salad and portobello wrap. Perfect, crisp flavors on a very hot day. We sat on the porch and it had fans to keep us nice and cool on a steamy day. Highly recommend but make sure you make reservations.

This restaurant is only a couple of blocks off of the main drag, but can be found easily. Although it's relatively small, they are extremely accommodating. My husband has a dairy allergy but loves that he can still enjoy the duck, which is one of his favorites. He couldn't stop raving about it the rest of our trip. This has... More

I do apologize for my extreme tardiness in writing this review. I can't exactly remember what we had to eat but... What I do remember is that it was delicious!!! I think my husband had some sort of beef or pork shank and I had a grilled or pan seared fish. At that first bite, I do remember both of... More

My wife and I try a different restaurant each night while staying at Isle of Palms for a week. This visit, Cru Café was our favorite dinner. I had seared salmon risotto and wife had fried oyster salad. Both were excellent. Loved the casual atmosphere.
