Not only is the food amazing here, but if you go on the nights when they have live music, it's soooo much fun! The band is fun and engaging and really good, oh the fiddle!! This is a must visit place, not your average Irish...More

We weren't that hungry and ended up sharing only one item. Thankfully that item was delicious! Irish nachos with chicken is a must if you like potatoes. They were so yummy and reminded us of the same taste as potato skins if you put chicken...More

Open mike night. Quiet enjoyable. The service was great. We had a light meal but everything was tasty and served hot and fresh. Will definitely return for a great time.

The Caesar salads with onions(??) were poor, with soggy croutons. The corn beef and cabbage was marginally ok. Will not be visiting it again for sure.

Found by mistake decided to go in and get a drink. Ended up ordering Dublin rolls and Irish nachos. Great place. Authentic Irish pub.

We stop here every time we come to Charleston. Great entertainment, food, and beer. Try the Irish nachos or Sheppard’s Pie

Sitting on the balcony is just fine, but Nothing Special. Food is just average, Drinks Cold, staff friendly. Don´t expect anything Special, but a Bar.

The pub serves lunch and dinner right next to the city market. Limited menu, but it was good food. There is both inside and outside seating. Great drinks and a good time.

Stopped in for beer and food. We were seated in a side room where there was a bar and one waitress for about 20 people at around 4-5 tables. We ordered drinks and never saw anyone again. We waited 45 minutes and ended up just...More

I was expecting average bar food, pleasantly surprised by the special of the day - jambalaya. Very spicy and the Pirate's Rum is amazing!

Description
After working in the restaurant business for many years, Tommy opened his first restaurant in 1984. He has made his name by becoming one of Charleston's favorite local spots to serve up Lowcountry specialties such as shrimp and grits and fish and chips. Tommy runs the type of family-oriented establishment where people know their children are as welcome as they are. In fact, a children's menu has been specially prepared for "little leprechauns." In the months following Hurricane Hugo, Tommy made numerous trips to Ireland collecting exquisite antique mirrors and authentic Irish memorabilia that adorn his restaurant. He scoured the countryside and brought every pub mirror he could find. He laughs wryly about his massive shipping bills. The results are worth all his effort. The mirrors cast rich reflections, making the restaurant warm and inviting. Some mirrors are ornately detailed while others shimmer with simple elegance. You'll swear you've been transported to a pub shrouded in antiquity in Ireland's rambling countryside. The restaurant would not be complete without the sounds of Ireland. The background music is perfect. In the pub and bar area the "live" sounds of Ireland can be heard every Wednesday through Sunday nights. You can sit back and listen or join in singing an Irish-American sing-along. Tommy says it is wonderful to see whole families getting in on the fun at one table while at another sits a couple on a date and at yet another sits someone's grandparents remembering and laughing.
