This restaurant is very convenient for us, but we were disappointed in the quality of the food. Fried green tomatoes were pretty bland, hush puppies were the worst. The fish was okay, and when bread was requested with the meal, we were told the hush puppies (for $4) was the only option. Not going to return real soon.

Had the low country boil. The shrimp were good (not from the area) the corn was frozen, the smoke kielbasa was super. The dish was rather plain, but tasty. The fried green tomatoes were served with a Thai chili sauce; AWESOME! My wife had shrimp and grits. They were good. Elijah was our server. He was well versed, and described... More

The view was great. The tails and legs platters were good. The she-crab soup was good. Service was very good. Would return.

The view was great, She crab soup was good. Our only gripe was that the low country boil didn't taste like everything was boiled together- the potatoes were kinda bland. Everything else was good. We got the soft shell crab sautéed, it was good too. Overall, not the best thing ever, but not bad.

They have a premium location beside the inland waterway, and our server was efficient and engaging, but the kitchen does not understand seasoning. My wife had snapper which was perfectly cooked, but had not been seasoned. Simple salt and pepper before grilling would have vastly improved the dish. The pasta with shrimp, clams and Tasso ham was tasty, but a... More

On a recent Saturday my wife and I met up with friends at the Charleston Crab House on James Island to watch some of the football games. Great location with a fine river view but I can't gush about their food or service, pretty average bar food and very slow service when it came to refreshing our beer orders I... More

Seated by the door to the deck. It was a chilly evening and the cold air entering was not very conducive to a pleasant dining experience. We asked and were moved to another table. The waitress that moved us was most pleasant and understood, she was the best part of the evening. One meal was a house salad and the... More

This is our second visit here in five years. The food wasn't very good the first time, but we thought we would give it another try. The fried shrimp was alright, but the flounder was terrible. The grilled seafood trio was average tasting. Almost $70 for these two dishes and the tip. Even a fast food seafood restaurant has better... More
