We decided to try this bbq establishment due to the overwhelming positive reviews it has received. We usually like to try a sampling of different meats at a new bbq place. The menu did not offer any such kind of plate, but the waitress told...us we could add ribs to any of them, so that’s what we did. We ordered pimento cheese fritters as an appetizer. They were a good start and definitely unique. They are very rich, and came with a chipotle ranch sauce which was pretty spicy. The dinner plate had pulled pork, half slab of ribs, baked beans, and mac and cheese with two slider sized buns. The star of the meal was the ribs. They were very good with a nice bark and flavor to them. The pulled pork and baked beans would have been good if they had been warm, but they were not. They were not even lukewarm. The worst part of the meal was the mac and cheese. It was stone cold and not creamy or soft like good mac and cheese is. I really am at a loss for why so many things were not in a safe food temperature zone. My wife had a Palmetto punch from the bar. For all food listed and the one drink plus a soda, the bill came to just over $45. If you pay with a card, be prepared for a 3% service charge that will be added on. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, the seating is plentiful with a choice of inside or outside dining, so it is a shame that the quality of the bbq and sides was not up to par. Maybe we caught them on a bad night?More

Read a ton of reviews, was super excited to try this place. Unfortunately severely disappointed. The seating, all outside, some covered some uncovered was nice and the weather was perfect. Service from our waitress was outstanding, definitely the best part of our experience. The older...dude sitting at the bar didn’t greet us and only said to go have a seat where you want, less than good my man; if you’re going to play host act like one. If the food was great this may have been overlooked but alas it was not! Appetizers we ordered were hush puppies and fried pickles. Hush puppies were fantastic, everything you would hope a hush puppy would be. The dipping sauce for the hush puppies was incredible as well. It was all down hill from here...... The fried pickles started out decent, not the best but pretty good, unfortunately the entire bottom layer of pickles was sitting in a ton of oil and they had soaked it up like a dry paper towel and they were inedible, looked like they were thrown on the paper in the basket straight from the fryer without draining any oil off first. Gross! I Ordered the dirty potato with pork and it was quite possibly the worst tasting food I have ever put in my mouth. There is a yellowish sauce all over the potato which I thought was some mixture of cheese and sour cream but no, I put it in my mouth and swore I just threw up in my mouth because that was the taste I got. I guess it’s some kind of mustard sauce maybe, mixed with who knows what but it was nasty, overly acidic, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the sour cream mixed in it was overly sour 🤷🏼‍♂️. I managed to find an uncontaminated piece of pulled pork and it was about 75% fat glob and 25% meat. I love a little fat as much as the next BBQ lover but this was inedible. To be fair the 25% that was meat was not horrible. I’m an easy guy to please, there is nothing I don’t like.....normally. I’ve never given less than a good rating for food on trip advisor. Sorry Queology, never again.More

We stopped in for lunch after taking a carriage tour to start our day. The staff was friendly, the tea was refreshing, great menu/ food, and affordably priced.

Excellent place to spend a happy hour in Charleston with outdoor seating , fair drink prices and good deals on smoked wings. Not sure it can compete with some of the other wonderful BBQ places in Charleston but certainly met all of our happy hour...needs and expectations.More

Great lunch stop! BBQ pork tacos and nachos were delicious. Their BBQ sauce is smoky, tangy and sweet. Very satisfying food. Would’ve loved to have tried their chicken, ribs and wings.

We stopped here while driving around Charleston & had a drink & appetizer at the bar. Bloody Mary was delicious & so was the sweet tea vodka lemonade. Fried pickles were perfect & our bartender, Shelly, was great! We had an outstanding time!
