We loved everything about this restaurant. The server bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and the owner couldn’t have been more gracious. I ordered the galette, La Sunshine, with rustic potatoes. You know a restaurant is authentically French if it knows the difference between a galette and a crepe. The ingredients were all fresh and the potatoes were seasoned exactly right. My husband enjoyed a vol au vent (chicken and spinach with a mushroom sauce) and potatoes gratin dauphinois (similar to scalloped potatoes). We finished with a strawberry and dark chocolate crepe. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Family members and I visited this delightful French bakery and cafe twice in early spring 2021, and each time the food was extraordinary. I had the quiche Californienne, the best quiche I’ve ever had. My niece had similar praise for the avocado toast. You place your order at a counter, but the food is then served to your table. The setting is very interesting — although I personally am not a fan of modern office buildings, there is no question that the decor in Saveurs du Monde is extremely chic and attractive. Unfortunately because it is a bit far from the historic areas of Charleston it is not getting the attention it deserves. Do yourself a culinary favor and make the drive north of the hospital district to enjoy Saveurs du Monde.

This is an excellent French style bistro with great food and a Happy Hour bar. My wife stopped in for lunch and the Le Nordique was fresh and delicious on a baguette with the iced Chai Latte. She had the London Style and that was great. Had to take some pastries for later and Ericka and the team were excellent. A great afternoon stop.

I love Saveurs du Monde (3 CHS Locations) - go there often for Lunch + Desserts. Now the Downtown Location offers Dinners. Always FUN to have Tasting-Menu paired with Wines. So this was clear - we wanted to go and well worth the money.

A great discovery on a trip to Charleston. The two ladies behind the counter went above and beyond explaining the many delectable pastries and finding the right tea for my wife. The ambiance was Euro cafe with plenty of well lit room and live plants dangling from the ceiling fixtures. I'm hoping a franchise opens in Greenville so I can get my fix of apricot danish and almond croissants.

This is one of the three locations of Saveurs du Monde. It is a bit cold and uninviting at this location in a nondescript large, modern building with difficult parking.
We made our way to the back of the place where the ordering counter is located. The staff was nice and helpful.
The Turkey BLT was delicious on wonderful bread. The sandwich was very large and plenty for the two of us. We took a couple of pastries home. They were both pretty good, but not up to what I expected.
I would go to one of their other locations in nearby Mount Pleasant and get a sandwich, but different pastries.

Have been going there since it opened and usually order an Originale. This time (06/15/2022) it was absolutely atrocious. The baguette could have been used as a baseball bat plus it had only a light dusting of butter and then placed on a grill. Not even close to all those I've gotten in the past or any recipe you could find online. Somebody needs (re)training. MichaelB

We were traveling via boat and staying at the Bristol marina. Our restaurant was a few blocks from the marina and across the street from the Publix grocery store.
Food and service was outstanding. Had the boeuf bourguignon and the coq au vin chicken. The dessert case is a sight to behold.
Will come back for the lunch (all day menu) selections.

I loved the beef bourguignon. Our host, Thierry was wonderful. Also for dessert try the Oreo Bombe. Definitely, would recommend. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. Shea and Lisa

Not an expansive menu but what was there was good. Next to Publix but not much else to see around there.

I brought a group of 5 to this restaurant because of the tasty quiches we had had for breakfast at their Mt Pleasant location.
Pros- delicious French dishes, nice and clean venue.
Cons- tiny wine list, very few choices of dishes, terrible service.
The tuna tartare, pork sirloin and burgers were out of this world delicious. I hope it was just lack of training or understaffing and not restaurant policy but our waiter was the most incompetent server I have ever had. He gave us no napkins, plates or utensils when he delivered the fantastic French bread with salted butter. We did the best we could with what we had. We tracked him down at the bar and asked for napkins, utensils, etc but, when he finally brought them, he placed a stack of bread plates on one side of the table and a stack of paper napkins on the other side. We had to pass the plates and napkins down to each other ourselves. Do it yourself service. Still no utensils except for one butter knife. He forgot to give us the ice water with lemon that I asked for, so we ate the bread at first with no liquid to wash it down until I chased after him to ask again. It took him 2-3 tries to give us the correct wines that we ordered. He spilled tea everywhere on the floor and on the bench where we were sitting and disappeared. I had to clean up so no one would slip. I would judge differently if the restaurant was super crowded, but it was practically empty. I have seen one waitstaff person juggle 6 large tables at a time at other restaurants and get everything right. At first there was just us 5 and one couple at the bar. I will give him credit for trying to work instead of staying home and collecting government benefits for not working.
The chef was great and checked on us to make sure we were happy with our dishes. Utensils fortunately arrived with our entrees. The food rivaled any meals we had in France.
If you do go there for dinner-bring your own bottled water, napkins, utensils, wine and enjoy the efforts of the talented chef. As good a the food was, it’s just not worth the aggravation in my opinion.

I tried a Parisian breakfast with a orange juice from real orange, a baguette with butter and french jam and a croissant plain with a coffee and milk absolutely delicious, my little one took a chocolate muffin, not so sweet and tasty, and my husband a double espresso because he like a strong coffee. We shared all because it was a lot for me, my husband didn t approve the taste of the coffee, but for not a big specialist it was perfect for me
