This local West Ashley restaurant is slightly hidden away in the Windermere shopping center. Offering both indoor and outdoor seating, this café is unassuming and cozy. Staff are warm and helpful, adding to the welcoming experience you get when you eat here. The menu, while boasting some of the usual brunch fair, also offers a unique spin on dishes, such... More

What a tweet, I mean TREAT to find TLB cafe! A wonderful menu and tasty fresh options for lunch (and breakfast so I hear.) It's off the main drag, around the corner in the back so keep looking... you'll be glad you did. The wraps are terrific and the salads are amazing.

I really wanted to like this place a lot. I always hear reviews about it. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. This service was fast but the price the food was not impressed. I also was concerned with the girl touching her nose and then bringing out food. I didn't see her wash her hands... More

Great breakfast spot, a little bit off the beaten path since it's not in historic Charleston. This meant that there was great food, no wait on a Saturday morning and friendly, helpful service. We had pancakes (the banana pecan were yummy!), French toast (two different kinds) and eggs. All made to order with generous portions. If you are local to... More

Our eggs, bacon, and toast breakfast was very good but we hated the music they played. It was all soul and motown (not our favorite). It would have been much better if they just played 50s oldies. Or at least alternated the types of music. The music was also on the loud side. The outside of the building was adorable... More

My world-traveler daughter and I were craving breakfast foods this morning. Arriving at Three Little Birds after normal "breakfast" hours, we were thrived to learn they serve breakfast all day :) We each selected a daily special. I chose peach pancakes (it's peach season!); Daughter picked a fresh veggie omelet with goat cheese. Both of us made sure to include... More

Recommended by family member. Small restaurant which I suspect has local patronage. There was a short wait, the food was good as was the service staff. If in the area give it a try.

My friend and I had lunch at Three Little Birds on Eastern Sunday. It was a short wait for a table, but definitely worth it. Customer service was great and the food was delicious. We both enjoyed our lunch. There isn't a lot of space, but it's worth it for the quality food at affordable prices.

We went there for breakfast on Monday morning. It's a cute little place. Service is good. Food is average.

Description
This was a great little "local" restaurant that took some searching to find. I found it in Chow Hound and after some serious searching we found it and we were very happy that we did! The food was excellent and and there were some very interesting offerings. My Grouper sandwich included several large pieces of bacon, in addition to the Grouper. My wife had a wonderful, but different, offering of Shrimp and Grits covered with chopped green and red peppers. You might want to include this place on your list for Charleston.
