Great restaurant! I don't live far from here and have eaten at the restaurant and taken food to go. Both are consistently great. I am a huge fan of pulled pork and they do it great here! And I love that the sauces are on the side, so you can put as much or as little as you want (this... More

I took my daughter to Smoky Oak Taproom for a casual BBQ dinner and found a hidden gem in Charleston. I had the Caddy Melt and I would say this was one of the best BBQ sandwich I have ever had! I consider myself a BBQ snob and this place exceeded my expectation!

Another great meal @ Smoky Oak Taproom! We had BBQ chicken & beef brisket. Our sides include delicious collards & some lima beans! Very good food. Only down side: they need to fix the booth Sears that rock & make noise thumping on the base.

This was a great little restaurant that had a very nice dinner/BBQ menu! The wait time wasn't long at all and they were easily able to accommodate a party of 6. It was a little loud indoors though. Conversations were kinda loud

The briscuit had zero fat and was superb. The french fries were crispy and not oily. Even the burger was delicious. They have 1/2 price burger night and we were there for trivia night starting at 8pm. I thought my wife and daughters would not want to stay for that but ended up eating great food and had a blast... I've only been here once for lunch but I will never go back. Service was ok, atmosphere was casual~ the food was awful. I ordered a barbeque chicken pizza and it just wasn't good. I'm not sure what was on it but I kept biting into something hard which I had to spit out. Also, it was covered with very... More

I went to Smoky Oak with a friend on 4/14/17 and it was great! Our server, Will was the best- so friendly and accommodating. Everything we ate was delicious!

I had the brisket quesadilla which was awesome. I also paid extra for the guacamole and it was worth it - very tasty. My husband got the brisket hoagie and it was huge! So were the onion rings. Tasty, but a lot of breading. Very good beer choices.

Been going here for years. It's a great little place that you can count on when you have visitors in town and you just want to have a great casual meal. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu and the service and prices are more than fair. I typically get the bbq or burgers but have had most... More

My husband and I went here for lunch, and I'm glad we chose it! I was starving, and the menu was full.of choices! Every type of bbq, all the expected sides to go with it. Salads, pizzas, nachos.....and an added bonus...a kids meal, so we can go back with the kids. Also, don't forget the extensive beer list....awesome! Definitely reccomend... More
