My friends were visiting from Memphis and we decided to have dinner at Halls. We were greeted at the door and escorted to our table by Billy Hall. Two of my friends were having birthdays so they brought us champagne to celebrate. The customer service is top notch. The steaks will melt in your mouth and the sides and desserts... More

I have been to many of the best steak restaurants in cattle country, Vic & Anthony's in Houston, Mickey Mantles in Oklahoma City, Plaza III ( back when it was world class) in Kansas City, Mahogany's in Tulsa , etc... They all commit the same sin so does Halls. They have the waiter put the steak in front of you... More

We arrived at 10 for our brunch reservations and were immediately greeted by the maitre d' as well as the owner. We felt graciously welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. Our server, Rob, was wonderful. We ordered bloody mary's and she-crab-soup to start - delicious! I ordered the crab cake eggs benedict - the hollandaise was excellent... More

Wow!!! Best customer service I have ever endured. What can I say but wow!! Management you must really push customer service as to me that was what shone through. We would never pay these prices but for customer service it was worth evety hard earnt $$$. Im still blown away with the service. Thank you

We were greeted like old friends at the hostess stand by the manager/owner. We had not been able to make reservations, so were concerned with having a long wait. Luckily, there was a table available at he bar. My husband ordered the dry aged rib eye and I ordered the bone-in fillet (available seasonally). My husband was in love at... More

We had dinner at Hall's several months ago while in the Charleston area. When we decided that we'd spend our 25th anniversary in the area, we had to go back. We called and requested a table upstairs; no problem. The servers are fantastic; we were brought champagne to celebrate our special night which was a really nice touch. I only... More

Halls had a cool presentation of the steaks along with exceptional service. They also had a live pianist which was a nice touch.

We came to Halls Chophouse on the last night of our honeymoon in Charleston. We really did save the best til last with this place! The owner came out to introduce himself and shook our hand on arrival (made us feel so welcome and special!), we were given a champagne toast to congratulate us and throughout the meal we were... Hall's Chophouse is a must every time we visit Charleston! The food is excellent, and the service is even better. This time we did the Sunday Brunch ... didn't need anything else to eat for the rest of the day! Looking forward to our last night in the city and having dinner there. It's a tradition started when they were... More

We walked in at 9:45 AM on Sunday AM because we had heard about the Gospel Brunch. We didn't have reservations but we were graciously seated at the bar for brunch. The service was top notch. Because of this, we came back that evening for dinner, again without a reservation. At both breakfast and dinner, one of the owners, Bill... More
