The dry aged ribeye was the best steak I have ever eaten anywhere. Our server, Carianne, was spot on. Owner cruises around welcoming diners. An all-round fabulous restaurant!

This is a very pricey restaurant and I ordered the flounder on the menu. It was the worse fish I have ever had and I live in Maryland where seafood rules! I cannot believe how much dinner was for something that tasted so bad.

No matter when you go to Hall's you are treated like royalty. Whether you sit at the bar or at a perfectly laid out table complete with white tablecloth, you feel the attention and service and welcome. The service begins at the door and you...will be impressed by the non-stop outstanding attention that lasts throughout your dining experience. What really makes it super special is the food. The steaks are truly delicious, my favorite is the filet which I split with my daughter, my husband's is the ribeye. The sides are also incredible and you won't want to skip those. The cocktails are always perfect as well! Brunch is one of my favorite times to go. They have outside seating during this Covid time too!More

Hall’s is a very nice restaurant. Nice upscale atmosphere, polite waiters and great service. Although the food was very good, it’s very expensive. The steaks we had were good, but I’ve had very good steaks at half the price. You’re definitely paying about 30% more...than you should be. All dishes are a la carte which is typical for a high end steak house and You’ll pay for every little addition including $8 grilled onions.More

Excellent food, attentive staff, outside seating. We were visiting Charleston on our journey across the country. We wanted a special dinner to celebrate. We choose an early seating on their outside patio, it was perfect. Safe and separate. I selected the dry aged 16oz, she...choose the 12oz bone in filet. Nobody shared anything! It was too good. Started with the crab soup and finished with the chocolate pate. Delish all around. The Hall boys are carrying on a great family tradition.More

Dining here is an experience. The staff and food are both amazing. They brought me and my spouse free champagne to celebrate my birthday. We had the strip and filet with Skillet Corn and creamed spinach - OMG soo good. Dress up and enjoy a...night out!More

My husband and I came to Charleston to celebrate our anniversary. I had read reviews for several fine dining establishments in Charleston and decided to give Halls a try. So very glad we did!! As soon as we entered we were greeted and asked if...we were celebrating anything. I informed them it was our anniversary and immediately we were wished a Happy Anniversary by several staff members of the restaurant as we were escorted to our table. The manager of the restaurant greeted us at the door, expressed his well wishes and then proceeded to bring two glasses of complimentary champagne to our table. We started out with the French Onion Soup, which was comparable to the French Onion Soups we enjoyed on a trip to Paris a few years ago. We both ordered steaks for our entrees and they were cooked to perfection. The Bread Pudding was our dessert selection and we loved it! Our waiter was very attentive and made excellent recommendations for our meal selections. Today we received a thank you note from our waiter. Now that is customer service at it's best! We would highly recommend dining at Halls Chophouse when in Charleston.More

I asked my wife if it was the food, the atmosphere, or the staff. The answer was YES. From Billy Hall greeting us at the front door, to the staff, to the unbelievable food, we left our 20th anniversary dinner with the best restaurant experience...we have ever had! Thank you HALLS!More

On 11/30/19, prime rib was $41.00 and the petite filet was $44.00. Sides were $5.50 each, appetizers were $14-16.00, and dessert was $11.00. One glass of chardonnay was $12.00. Al-in-all, expensive, but not outrageous for... More
