Atmosphere is super chill and the drinks were amazing! We sat at the bar and were given a samples of new menu items. The bartender was super friendly and gave us other recommendations for our trip. Highly recommend!
Nice spot I think the neighborhood likes. My husband and I stop there after having dinner and cocktails at two other places, so we wanted dessert and a rum cocktail. The seating was definitely inviting and we noticed what we thought were several neighborhood people...More
Awesome spot! A highlight of our trip. Owner was on hand to discuss rum options to rum fans and people who don’t usually drink it. Super knowledgeable with a friendly and no pressure approach. We will be back.
They advertise that they carry 90+ different rums so my husband was anxious to try this new pub. We stopped in to have a cocktail before we went to dinner. He ordered a new rum he had never had before and I tried a mixed...More
Came here for a quick drink while waiting for a table elsewhere. Fun place. You can smell the Caribbean the minute you enter. The classic mojito is great. The Zombie is well worth it if you can handle the strength! Comes in a zombie glass...More
I visited in October 2019 with friends and was pleasantly surprised. This little gem has inexpensive food and drinks, great music (soca, reggae and afrobeats) and bartenders that pay attention to you. The bar serves drinks made with rum from all over the Caribbean and...More
On the site of where once was local favorite Big John’s Tavern, has arisen a Caribbean Oasis in downtown Charleston.

Small quaint Caribbean style bar and restaurant on East Bay Street near the marketplace specializing in rum flavored cocktails. Rum from all over makes for a unique tasting experience. Small plates are terrific especially empanadas, cod balls and jerk chicken. Say hello to Vincent for...More
We went here because one member of our party is a big fan of rum bars drinks and this place seemed to fit the bill. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cool. Not pretentious at all. The drink menu does rely (unsurprisingly!) on rum. The...More
Fab food (coconut curry was delicious) although the rice it comes with is a small portion so we ordered extra. The cocktails are even better. Amazing choice of rum and helpful friendly staff. Good music too!
