Came here for a couple appetizers and ended up staying for more! The pimento dip was great and they offer other Southern comfort food options with a more upscale feel. Opted for the southern staple Shrimp and Grits and they were great! Also, manager Tom was very friendly and checked on us a few times to make sure we enjoyed... More

We were looking for a casual place for lunch after spending the morning sightseeing. A local recommended Virginia's on King, so we stopped in. We were greeted by a very snooty young hostess whose first question was "Do you have a reservation?" No, we did not. It was 2:30pm on a weekday. She told us that we'd need to wait... More

If you're a lover of fried chicken liver like me, you really MUST try Virginia's on King! Hesitant at first, I decided to go for it and so glad I did. Even though it is an appetizer, the portion would have satisfied me. Not knowing this, I also ordered the Poutine...a-mazing! If you've never tried this bowl of deliciousness, it... More

We visited Virginia's on King as our first stop of a culinary food tour. We sampled the broccoli cornbread, fried green tomatoes and chicken & dumplings. All 3 samplings were delicious and made me want to come back to Virginia's on King again! The chicken & dumplings were melt-in-your-mouth yummy. We glanced at the menu on our way out and... More

My family of 6 made a reservation for 8:15 on a Thursday after a day of sight seeing in Charleston. The hostess mouthed "wow" when we walked in (my husband and I and our 4 children aged 6 and under). I must add at this point that we eat out frequently with our kids and this is day 6 of... More

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at lunch. We walked in with no wait and had the nicest waitress. The crab cakes were delicious. My kids enjoyed a nice dining experience and the bill was not too crazy and we were full!

After 10 hours in the car,all I wanted was a cold beer and food. Virginia's definitely fit the bill for that. In addition, the food was exceptional and the staff was the epitome of Southern hospitality.

six of us went in on 7/2/2016 at Brunch time. It was not busy and the service was not that great. The food was in my opinion slightly above average but very good. the service was on the slow side but they took our money quickly. I felt that the menu was also limited. It was close to jennies Ice... More
