A good friend and colleague has for some time recommended Farm Boys; we hit the drive through as dine in was buffet only. Portion sizes were ample, q was on point with a choice of mustard or vinegar. No fries or onion rings available, the vegetables we had were bland and insipid, with no discernible seasonings, vinegar or salt pork... More

Nice selection of BBQ food items Very reasonably priced and tasty. Buffet style-self serve. Best fried chicken and nicely prepared shredded pork. We went on Saturday when this cuisine was offered and it was very busy. Very casual atmosphere.

A great dining experience. If you want pork chops on Thursday you better go early.. like 11:30 early! Good food and good staff. Highly recommend.

Was cravin BBQ, while traveling through the state, came upon this place and was satisfied with the result. The vinegar and pepper based BBQ was excellent. Great price for kids, fair price for adults. Only open weekends, only buffet, and not fancy and that was ok with us even though we rarely eat at buffets.

Super clean restaurant and restrooms. Staff is very friendly. The food is very fresh and spot on. Sweet tea is great. Most of the vegetables appear to be fresh not can. This is a must stop. I rate this a 5+. I will definitely be back. Five them a try you will be pleased.

We stumbled on this place 7 years ago on a trip. We were looking for BBQ and we were surprised to discover it only served South Carolina (mustard based) and North Carolina (vinegar & pepper based) but enjoyed it. Hush puppies were fantastic and we talked about them forever. On planning a trip back to Hilton Head, I searched for... More

If you are anywhere near the Columbia, SC area, it will be worth your drive to Chapin, SC for Farm Boys BBQ. The food here is incredibly fresh, buffet style, and plenty to choose from. It's SC mustard based BBQ at it's finest. If you go much past 5:30, plan on a waiting a little, but not usually too long.... More

First, they are only a weekend joint. The barbecue is typical SC barbecue. the sides are all good, but there is nothing interestingly enough different than almost every barbecue buffet restaurant in SC. It is a folding table with plastic table cloth type place. When you live near it and don't want to travel further for something more unique it... More

We eat at Farm Boy's often. It's our go to restaurant on Friday nights. The food is excellent with a wide variety to choose from. We love both flavors of BBQ. I usually mix both together, a nice mix of mustard and vinegar bases.

Thank Patricia H
