We placed a take-out order for Buffalo Wings and (2) Fish & Chips for pick up. We have eaten at the Bluffton location many times but this time we were very disappointed. The wings were good. The Fish & Chips consisted of what I would describe as two long “french toast looking sticks”, overcooked and dry, a handful of fries, two hush puppies that were also overcooked, and Cole slaw, which would have been delicious had it been cold. Not worth the $16 an order, and we would not order it again.
Service from the girls that took the order and ran it out to the car was fabulous!

My wife and i were exploring downtown Bluffton on our way home from Florida. Both hungry an looking forward to a relaxing cocktail. After looking through several establishments we found this place and settled down at the bar. The bartender was very responsive, made us several cocktails and simce it was a crowded night we ordered dinner at the bar. Our food arrived quickly. Both the fish sandwitch and crab cake sandwitch were very good. Prices were very reasonable and ill say iy sgain - the bartender was great. Highly recommend this place.

The Bar & Grill features a cacophony of sounds; heightened conversations, clagging of dishes, waitresses repeating orders, and the hustle bustle of customers. My choice for lunch was a cod sandwich and slaw, it was scrumptious. The entry section of the menu had prices between $20 and $30. This is not a destination for a family.

Had a good dinner with friends from out of town. One person had serious gluten allergy and the waitress was attentive and recommended options. All four of us had seafood and it all was good - recommend the fish and chips which was very good!!

Took my wife in for lunch yesterday. Asked hostess to sit outside since there was a 4 top that appeared to be open. She said it was reserved for a party of 9, she then seated us inside. She immediately seated a party of 2 at the outside table (no one else was seated with them). She seated 2 other parties of 2 at other tables inside - both tables received their meals before we did, finally our food appeared. The other 2 tops were paying their checks when our food arrived. Food was ok, nothing special. Would I go back or recommend - no.

Lots of seafood as well as land offerings along with local brews. They don't have any on tap, however. Several desserts offered. We shared a slice of Hummingbird Cake which was large enough for two and possibly 3 people. It was very good with a delicious thick layer of Cream Cheese frosting. It was very good, but could have had more pineapple.

If Capt. Woody still owned this place, he would insist on serving local shrimp - he is a shrimper, after all! We almost didn't ask, but were glad that we did. The waiter's excuse that local shrimp is too expensive is unacceptable. No time to go elsewhere since we were heading to a show shortly. I got the blackened mahi (they were already out of the trigger fish). Bland but acceptable. Mashed potatoes were great. Two others got burgers with beer cheese. They both said they were ok, but nothing to write home about. Like the homemade chips. Our 4th person simply got a salad. We won't be going back. Next time we'll take some extra time to go to Hudson's up the road where we know they have local shrimp straight off their dock!

Stopped in for quick dinner since we were exploring Bluffton. Husband started with a cup of clam chowder. The chowder was creamy with big chunks of tender pink clam. Every spoonful had clam! We also had the cornbread basket. Cornbread was light and fluffy, more cake-like than cornbread but delicious. My husband had a fried platter with flounder, scallops, shrimp and French fries. It was just ok. The seafood was not seasoned but it was fresh.
I had the shrimp and grits - Delicious!! Creamy, cheesy, grits. The gravey was amazing with bits of ham instead of sausage. The blackened shrimp was fresh and nicely seasoned.
Hailey was a delightful server.
Strongly recommend!

Consistently good. Servers are friendly and fast, as well as conscientious about mask wearing. Wife had the Bisque and I had the incredible clam chowder. Followed up with fish and chips platter- fish fried to perfection, lots of fries and coleslaw. We are regulars because we have never been disappointed. Not a fancy place but comfortable and soul- satisfying.

Old Bluffton was busy, but they got our party of 15 seated right away! We sat outside in a screen-in covered patio with several fans so we were comfortable and bug free! Our server, Lydia, was amazing and the food came out fast and perfectly! Several family members had the shrimp Alfredo pasta and said how delicious it was. I had the Kentucky Beer Cheese burger and it was incredible. We will be back, highly recommend!!

My ladies' group from church gathered here for dinner before a show. They were very accommodating in reserving a table for 12 of us. Rob, our server, was quick to take drink orders as we arrived and served them with a smile. Once we had all arrived, he took our orders, and the food was served hot and tasty. I had the fried shrimp basket and onion rings. They were both crispy and delicious. Everyone at the table was pleased with their meals. Rob provided us all with our individual checks and we all left very satisfied. Would definitely visit again if visiting Bluffton.

Our group of 5 had a short wait on a busy Monday night. Our server, Carissa, was friendly, helpful, and very prompt.
Our group ordered shrimp wrap, steamed shrimp, coconut shrimp, shrimp tacos, and Mahi Mahi. All were well prepared and seasoned to our delight.
Sides of hush puppies, cole slaw, and sweet potato fries were enjoyed by all.
We will definitely return to this restaurant.

We came here looking for oysters and were not disappointed. We were seated promptly, the menu was easy to read and our order came out quickly. My husband had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing. Creamy grits with a savory gravy and the shrimp cooked perfectly. I had the fried oyster basket with coleslaw and it was just the tight size. Oysters were fresh and tasty! It satisfied my craving and we would definitely return!

Was a bit worried because of the name, thought it might be a tourist place. Actually had one of the best meals on this vacation. I had the " clam boy" sandwich. The breading was light, and not greasy at all, the tartar sauce was almost sweet. Coldslaw was perfect. My wife's sandwich was also excellent, and her potato salad was great. We have paid lot more for food that was half as good (The Salty Dog) this trip.

Really solid meal. I had the pick 3 blackened with the fish, shrimp and scallops, accompanied by some nice sautéed vegetables and a delicious potato cake. Wife had a nice spinach salad and we split everything. Seafood was cooked and seasoned properly and the veggies and cake were delicious. The salad was a nice selection as well. We sat outside under a nice heat lamp. No complaints at all. Waitress wore a mask. They did charge us for the two different dressings we got which caught us off guard. Our waitress was all business and not into small talk, she wanted our order and move on but she did a nice job. Most definitely would go here again. Tons of great choices on their menu.
