We were warned about this restaurant but tried it anyway because it was within walking distance to where we were staying. They did have fresh soft shell crab which I ordered but it was very spicy which was not indicated nor was I verbally warned...More

Locals use this restaurant and bar, very good food and service. Tried the shrimp and grits! This restaurant is a stones throw from the Beaufort Inn where we stayed.

Emily's was recommended to us by the office staff at our hotel. The food was not comparable to the prices...my friend's flounder was undercooked and soggy..she had to send it back. Our waiter was not attentive to us and it was not because of a...More

We went on a Saturday night (reservations recommended) and were promptly seated. Giant menu with at least 50 tapas options and another 25-30 entree options. We went with 4 tapas - Artichoke Tempura, Escargot Bourguignon, Wild Boar Sauage and Pancetta Shrimp - and all were...More

Wife and I shared the 14oz Steak Au Poivre. Sauce is delicious. 5$ share charge gets you an extra vegetable. We had the potatoes roasted, excellent taste. I also had the zucchini and it was good.

Did not have to wait. I had BBQ and my wife had fish. Both plates were great and not to spice in them. Service was the best I have had a while.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. They had a large party so service was a little slow. The food was very good. The only problem was that the waiter at the next table handled the table ware with his fingers when resetting the table.

Sat on the bar side of the restaurant for a casual dining experience. Our waiter was interested in telling us about himself, why the menu was overpriced, and could not give a straight answer about anything on the menu. We took our chances and ordered...More

All of the above have answered your question. No steamed that I know of either but seasonal soft shells.

Not the place I'd go for steamed crabs. White table cloths not picnic tables covered w/newspapers for opening and consuming steamed crabs.
