Tucked away underneath the building, here is this little, cozy gem of a bistro facing the waterpark. The decor is intimate and the staff is super friendly. Great place for drinks or an outdoor lunch on the patio, this place is prefect to relax with friends or after a busy day to simply unwind!!

Hemingway's is tucked under a building along the water and provides an intimate yet very casual atmosphere. The staff are warm and welcoming and the cocktails are flowing. Enjoy!

Near the waterfront and behind Bay Street. Parking close by and a few minute walk to this restaurant. Good location. We had the wrap of the day which was quite good. Guess we missed out on the she-crab soup. Outside seating available.

We visited Beaufort on a rainy day en route from Charleston to Savannah. The friendly lady at the visitor's center recommended we try Hemmingway's for lunch and I'm so glad she did. Hemmingway's is hard to find - you can't access it directly from Bay Street. Instead, park in the visitor's parking lot and walk to it from the area... More

I love Hemis. All the bartenders rock and Ms.Bobbie makes the best she crab soup and seafood gumbo around! Dollar Jell-O shots, $3.50 imports, and $2.75 domestics, count me in! They have a great view and all the locals go there. They are dog friendly and even have water and treats for them too. Don't miss out!

The best dive bar ever!! A server at another local restaurant told us about Hemingway’s during a girl’s weekend and said it was were the locals go. It is located in basement of building wedged between Panini’s and Luther’s. There is a small patio area at the rear that faces the waterfront. They serve lunch until 3pm and then the... More

My favorite watering hole when in Beaufort. Rustic, in the historic sense. Building was a US Customs House during the Civil War. Fabulous pub food! The girls behind the bar are awesome!!!

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the she crab soup and Ruben on the advice of fellow diners. It did not disappoint! Soup was some of the best I've ever had and it came with a big chunk of french bread. Rueben was also a cut above most places.
