Southern charm and pleasant staff with delicious food presented with such beauty. The popovers and strawberry butter, shrimp and grits, she-crab soup, strawberry cake....ANY of the starters..too many to list of good eats. You must try and you will NOT be disappointed! You must bring your own alcohol if you are drinking, but there is no charge for their chilling... More

A quaint small restaurant in a large bed and breakfast in Beaufort Sc. If you like grits, eggs cooked in different ways including used to make omelette, sausages, bacon, English muffins etc then this place is a great place to visit especially if you are staying at the Beaufort Inn as it is included in your overnight fee. The food... More

We went to Southern Graces for a birthday dinner when visiting family in Beaufort. While we expected to have a nice dinner we were all pleasantly surprised at how excellent the food was. The popovers and strawberry butter was a fun starter and the appetizers of caprese salad and she-crab soup were very good. The stuffed grouper and the scallops... More

We were staying at the Beaufort Inn which houses the restaurant. Most times we would explore the town for a dinner spot but decided to try their restaurant. What a great move as it could not have been any better. The menu was small but had a great selection. The quality of the food and staff was exceptional. I would... More

While staying at the Beaufort Inn, we made reservations for dinner at the Southern Grace Baptist. The only thing better than the great wait staff was the meal we were served. Certainly worth the trip!

My daughter and I had dinner here and we were so happy we did! It was my first time for having shrimp and grits, they were awesome! My daughter had barbecue salmon that was the best, ever! We also had amazing popovers with a strawberry butter that was sooooo good! Our server, Ashley was very charming and made us feel... More

We were fortunate enough to be staying at the Beaufort Inn and having had a wonderful lunch here previously, decided to try dinner. The service was wonderful and just as the name implies it was "Southern Grace" at its finest. The dining room is small, quaint and tastefully decorated. We started with a salad that had candied bacon and fried... More

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the variety of foods available on the daily buffet. Not the usual hotel breakfast buffet fare, to be sure! Everything was tasty, properly prepared, and the chefs and staff were charming and personable. What a treat to enjoy made from scratch baked goods, freshly prepared eggs and omelets cooked to order, fresh... More

Several folks mentioed we should try the Bistro at the Beaufort even if only for the huge popovers. We had large salads for lunch and were very pleased. It did take a little while to be seated, and we werem't sure of the reason for that as there apeared to be enough room. Even so, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere... More

I recently had lunch here with a group of friends. The location is lovely, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, the prices reasonable, and the food was delicious. The chef even gave me his popover recipe! They do not have a liquor license, so bring your own wine. You may find it inconvenient, but it is a bargain, no... More
