Cory greeted the four of us at the door and made us feel welcome. Our waitress, Sarah was excellent. She shared the specials, showed great concerns about dietary restrictions some members of our party needed, she smiled, was pleasant and kept our water and oil dishes filled . The food was tasty and filling. Loved the bread and the seafood pasta dish. Thanks! We will be back.

This was our first visit to this high end Italian restaurant in Habersham. Food was excellent but service left something to be desired. Our waiter, Jay, seemed distracted all evening. We had to ask for bread when every other table had some. Never gave us any olive oil to go with it. He collected our plates when we were done but never asked if we wanted coffee of dessert. We had to send bus girl to kitchen to find him. Then we learned that despite all the positive comments of their desserts there were only two choices. Also the place is extremely noisy as there is nothing to absorb any sound and tables are crammed in close to one another.

My wife was looking for a quality restaurant for my birthday and not on Hilton Head Island. The restaurant is in Habersham, part of Beaufort. Modern looking restaurant with well spaced tables for conversations. Friendly and knowledgeable staff taking you to your table, setting up water, bread and olive oil with balsamic for dipping. Our server Savanna easily explained the specials and answered questions on the menu. Fried calamari and shrimp was not on my radar, too many over breaded and overcooked memories from Jersey. Assured that they were lightly breaded and fried, we gave it a go. The best I have had in a very long time. Portion was plentiful for 2 or more. Excellent veal Marsala in the tastiest sauce, plus a side of pasta. My wife had the freshest clams and pasta. Both entrees came with house salads. Well worth the trip, and looking forward to our return.

We asked to have the Owner come over. He did. My friend told him politely we were having a Bad Experience. He told our group (6 of us) a litany of reasons of why we had to wait so long for every course ... to include we Ordered Late (We ordered dinner the first time the waitress said “Are you ready to order”), and then he said, “it is Valentines Weekend and we are very busy”, and he continued on about Logistical Problems they had encountered. As he went on he lost his composure. His angry loud voice could be heard throughout his restaurant as he went on and on, while including angrily stating “You are being Disrespectful to me”. Actually most restaurant owners want to know their guests have had a BAD time so they can correct it. So we explained it. All he had to do was say, “I am so sorry you had a bad experience. We want everyone to have a wonderful pleasant dinner with us. I am very sorry you did not have that!”, and we would have been happy. We weren’t looking for a Comped meal. After he said, “I will Comp your meals” he apparently thought that this decision gave him the right to continue to loudly berate us and the topper was his statement “ I will comp your meals, EAT AND LEAVE! We immediately left. We did not eat our entree’s. On the way out a couple of the diners near us expressed their amazement at his behavior. We will NEVER GO BACK. None of us had ever experienced inappropriate behavior like that at any restaurant or any venue for that matter.

We deeply apologize that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. As stated in your review, we were extremely busy at the time and our #1 priority is Quality. We understand sometimes waiting a little longer can be frustrating however our chef cannot sacrifice quality for speed. We took care of the bill and paired it with sincere apologies in hopes to rectify this situation. We sincerely apologize it didn’t translate this way. Every guest that walks through our doors is met with love because it is extremely important to us to make our guests feel like family. We also understand that sometimes moments and experiences aren't for everyone. Unfortunately, our second visit to Miramare was a big disappointment. Dinner was sent back - raw scallops and watery risotto that tasted awful. The scallops were returned to us after being cooked more but $38 for the meal was overpriced. Asked for lemon for the calamari appetizer and never received it. Charged extra for the soup when asked if we wanted soup or salad (apparently, only salad was included). We asked for more bread and waiter told us they hadn't made enough (!? it was early on a Friday evening). Two hour dinner and couldn't wait to leave!

Good local Italian food, but it’s hard to call it great. Was it worth it? Yes. But I’m not sure how many times I would return. We had four couples, and all enjoyed their meals. My wife and I had bruschetta, a pasta dish and I had veal piccata. The table enjoyed a couple of bottles of wine with their meals. The bruschetta was well done, the pasta dish also good as was the veal. It’s hard for me to give five stars to an “Italian” restaurant that serves spaghetti and meatballs. Please, someone tell them this is not an Italian dish. But I get it, this is America and they know their market. My wife did not enjoy her meal as much as I did, but our party did seem to be satisfied that the food was prepared well. A decent wine list also. But what was most impressive was our server, Sarah. She was the perfect professional - attentive, thoughtful, completely competent and sensitive to what was going on at the table. She got everything right, was genuine without being intrusive at all. She made it a great experience. If you go, ask for her.

Absolutely the best meal we’ve had in Beaufort!! We celebrated our anniversary here last night and we ate every single bite of everything brought to our table. AMAZING!! The service was impeccable and we absolutely can not wait to go back. I feel it was even a better meal than any place we’ve eaten in Charleston (and there have been many). The meal we received last night rates in the top 5 meals we’ve ever eaten together ( married 16 and together 19 years). It was that good!

We ordered the Osso Bucco, Burrata, Caesar salad and a few mixed specialty drinks. Everything was delicious. Our server Sarah was excellent.
We like the outdoor dinning and have a few suggestions for a better experience.
1. Pressure wash the sidewalk dining area especially the downspout area and around the planters.
2. Flies were annoying. Maybe spray the area or have some citronella candles for the tables.

We enjoyed a wonderful Italian meal at Miramare. The atmosphere was very pleasant and Sinatra was crooning in the background. We shared a tuna tartare appetizer that was fresh and generously proportioned. The veal saltimbocca with pasta was excellent and the beef fillet was tender, cooked perfectly as requested; it came with tasty roasted carrots and truffle fries. Yum!

We had dinner with two friends last Sunday night. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and the incredible aroma of Italian food.
I ordered the lasagna and it came in an incredible iron serving pot. Dinner included a dinner salad and the lasagna was very flavorful and memorable. The whole dinner worked together beautifully.
After dinner, we had some handmade craft drinks at the bar. By the end of the night, we were already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

Today was the first day Miramare introduced Sunday brunch and it was a wonderful experience. The food, service and prices were exceptional. The menu had a good variety to choose from and it was hard to decide but we ended up having the Spinach and Goat cheese frittata and the breakfast pizza. It was a lovely meal and we have already decided we will be back again soon. Don't miss it!

We had reservations for 8 pm on a Saturday evening. We arrived on time and waited a few minutes for the table. We ordered fairly quickly but it took one hour to get our Caesar salad. By the time we got our entrees it was after 9:30. My wife’s ravioli was cold and the chicken on my chicken lemone was dried out. Someone (not the waitress) came over to hear our complaint. He didn’t seem to care much and offered to fix something else but it would have been well after 10 pm. Didn’t offer to comp my wife’s dish which she had 1-2 bites. Doubt we will make another visit even though we are locals.

What a wonderful experience we had, food was delicious, drinks awesome, you get 3 drinks in 1, staff outstanding. Had the special appetizer of octopus and brusetta both were amazing, for dinner had veal parmigiana and clams with white wine sauce. No room for deserts. Well worth the trip

We went there expecting fine Italian food . Fine Italian !! The food here was good but not great . The bread was OK as well . Not the crusty Italian bread that we were hoping for. They charge premium prices here . My biggest disappointment was that the portions were very small . I ordered the veal parmigiana and the piece of veal was about 2 1/2 inches wide and about 5 inches long . And pounded so thin that it was about 3 1/2 ounces of veal . Very small and disappointing. The side of spaghetti was very small as well about the size of a baseball again disappointing. When I go to other fine Italian restaurants like Dolce Vita in Bluffton . I have enough food for an extra dinner the following evening . When we asked for some extra bread . There was four of us . And they gave us 2 slices, again not what was expected . The sauce on the veal was good. I am of Italian heritage and will not go again due to the small portion sizes . I actually could not wait to get home to have some desert. I was still a little hungry .
