My first time eating at this Restaurant. Food was Very Good and Portions were of good size. Decor and atmosphere was well done. The wait staff was very attentive and did a great job. Enjoyed the food. Small menu selection but I like that. Better to be good with less than not good with much!!

Probably just an off night or moment but food came out slowly and staggered to family of four with a reservation. Not the best table up against a wall. Pretty pricey for the experience.

The wait staff are always very professional and friendly. They greet you immediately when you enter and have you seated promptly. The food is always fresh and delicious. Only negative is the alcoholic beverages are a bit pricey.

My husband and I sat at the bar for dinner while visiting Beaufort. Sitting at the bar is usually a good way to meet locals which we did on this night. Atmosphere is casual. We ordered martinis and asked if we could get blue cheese olives and were told it would be a $2 additional charge. Surprising as we order... More

My mom brought me to Wren for lunch and I was very pleasantly surprised. I started with the tomato soup (or bisque, can't quite remember which it was called on the menu) and it was wonderful! The slice of bread that came with it was also fabulous. Then I ate a southwestern salad for lunch, sans chicken, and also thought... More

Service with Andrea was wonderful; she was attentive but didn't hover and she kept me informed when she thought there was a bit too much of a delay. The food was sublime. I had the mahi and shrimp on a bed of grits. Let me tell you: amazing! Limited wine list but that could be a good thing and I... More

Arrived in town after a long drive. Enjoyed Flounder. It had a fresh southwest sauce w fresh chopped veggies. I loved the southwest sauce combined w the fresh picante like topping. My boys had a burger. We also tried the shrimp with pasta & vodka sauce. It was very well done - solid. The southwest chicken soup was the bomb.... More

My wife and I were alone for Christmas and used the day to drive up from Savannah. Using Tripadvisor and then narrowing by what was open Christmas Eve for lunch, we chose the very convenient Wren. My unusual chicken sandwich and my wife's pecan cranberry chicken salad were both so good they were memorable.

Description
Wren Bistro and Bar is a locally owned and operated restaurant and bar that features an ever evolving menu for both lunch and dinner. The kitchen uses delicious locally caught seafood, great cuts of steak, juicy chicken, and tasty pasta dishes. The portions are enormous (the 18 oz ribeye, and the 12-14 oz burgers for example!) and are easily big enough to share. We compliment the lunch and dinner menus with a staff of professional servers and bartenders who are very knowledgeable, always courteous, and very entertaining. The décor is elegant, yet modern and hip. So, if you and yours are looking for a great experience, and even better food, come check us out anytime Monday through Saturday, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Reservations are not required, but always welcomed!
